Bottom Line: Homemade ice cream in a quaint store front with cows in view. My husband and I have driven past this cute ice cream storefront on multiple occasions and today was the day we finally stopped. A great place to stop off the road. Home made Ice cream, deserts and jelly’s. Very clean inside and out. Vanderwende is a family owned and operated business.Parking: Parking is easy.Kid-friendliness: Places to take pictures amongst wood cut outs.

This is one of the best ice cream shops in Maryland. You can get some great custom flavors for decent price. I made the "mistake" of ordering a double scoop, not realizing they would be giving me a PINT worth in a cup!Ice cream consistency was creamy and full of toppings. Worth the stop if you are heading over to the beaches.
