Horrible service, undercooked salmon delivered 10 minutes after everyone else. Insulting waiter. Properly cooked parts were tasty. If you are going to insult someone using your religion as an excuse it just makes you a bigot.

Ordered delivery which I have done several times in the past. I have always been delighted with the food. This time I got two of my favorites… wedge salad and buffalo wings. The salad was cold and crispy. The wings have crispy skin and the meat falls off the bone. Highly recommend!

It's one of my favorite spots to dine in the area.Hope tonight was a one-off. Walking in a waiter spilled cream on my wife's jeans without even acknowledging the incident. We sat in one of the tents with our party of eight. The acoustics were so poor that we could not hear each other speaking. The waiter was slow and inattentive to our needs. Bar orders took over 20 minutes to show up.Then, to top off our disappointment, the waiter brings the check with a gratuity of 20% added to our bill.As previously stated , this is one of my go-to spots when people visit. Sadly, Big Oyster fell short tonight .

Place is amazing. Beers are top notch. Food is so good! Service was also great. Ambiance on a Thursday afternoon was great. Sat in the heated tent area. Just can't say enough about this place. Will visit again and suggest you do also. Lilly, our server, was great and made excellent suggestions when we were between selections.

I'm so happy to have been in the area or I would not have known about this gem. When my mother was living, she used to keep me updated on places in the beach area whenever I could visit. I miss that among many other things, of course. Now, I don't even know about various restaurants and shops which have been opened for a while. It is amazing to see the growth in the area. My husband and I happened to drive past the Big Oyster Brewery on our way towards the Cape May/ Lewes Ferry. It caught our eye, so we made a u-turn to go back. I'm glad we did!We both admired the structure, it's an old barn... As soon as we stepped inside we were welcomed right away and I felt good about the vibe there. According to staff and from what I could see, in the summer there are outdoor spaces they use, including a stage and some play areas for children. I think the warm weather would be an excellent time to return for a visit. I must admit even on the cold January day we were there, it was warm and toasty inside with laughter, good brews, good music playing over the speaker and interesting decor! The restaurant itself although a bit small inside is easy to navigate. There are spaces that are used even in winter. Although I did not notice any automatic door openers, which would be helpful for those in wheelchairs, I'm glad the restrooms were individual ones because it's roomy and private. The whole place was clean and again I must speak on the friendly and welcoming atmosphere because that is so important.I enjoyed sampling some brews by choosing a flight with my order of fried oysters. Everything was good and I saw lots of yummy items on the menu I want to try when I come back. If only I had not eaten before seeing this place, lol, but it was still a good experience! Also, my husband enjoyed his burger with short rib on top. The shop sells shirts, hats—a variety of things, and you can pick up some of their beers. I recommend you visit!

A fun place to spend some time with friends, drinking good beer and sampling the menu. The Whole Pig Mac & Cheese is spectacular, and more than enough for 2 people to share. The monster sized soft pretzel is an excellent pairing with any of the multiple beer choices. Super friendly staff.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps

Very few breweries have great food, awesome beers and perfect atmosphere. Big Oyster has all three. Good for families. Kids meals come with a cup of ice cream :) We have made this our stop getting off the ferry and heading back to Chesapeake - the kids have a good time and sleep the next few hours home.Kid-friendliness: Large outdoor playground

I was at the Big Oyster Brewery a few months ago and forgot to leave a review. However, this was one of, if not the BEST dining experiences I have EVER had. Food was off the charts good. Beer was very tasty and has had a great selection. Atmosphere was great. Staff was AMAZING. I IWLL be making the 2 hour drive there again.

Went for $10 burgers but got salads instead. This asparagus artichoke salad was amazing. Citrus vinaigrette was light and crisp and the bc crumbled added nice tart compliment. The asparagus and artichoke added texture without any inedible pieces. DH’s Caesar with blackened chicken was good but needed a little more punch. Highly recommend the oyster sliders.

Every time I try to get in this place there’s an 1.5 hour wait. Finally, mid December, we got in. I really liked every single beer I tried here, which is unusual for me. The only other brewery I can say that for is Victory. Their Mexican cancer lager was the best Mexican cancer lager I’ve ever had. 5 out of 5 for beers. Service at the bar was also outstanding and extremely personable. The food was ok, a little pricey for what it was. Will absolutely go back for the brews

We visited Big Oyster Brewery for our second time on 12/7. Chen was our server and was amazing. He pointed us to all the specials for the evening, made recommendations and was an overall delight! The steamed oysters and crab cakes were delicious and awesome, reasonable happy hour menu. We chose the specialty cocktails for the holiday, the Sugar Cookie Crush and the Tipsy Gingerbread Dark and Stormy — delicious! Will definitely return!!!

Great atmosphere, delicious oysters, perfect summer date spot. They had live music and a huge outdoor area to enjoy while you are waiting for a table (if there is a wait). Definitely plan on returning!

We love going here because with all the semi-outsoor seating, we can bring our dog, enjoy some craft beer, and get some good food, including their selection of oysters. Their crab soup and oyster stew are great, and the whole menu is pretty tasty.Kid-friendliness: There's basically a HUGE playground and activity area out back. Great for the kiddos, better for the 'rents.

The brewery is very casual. Lots of room for big parties. The cold slaw was good. My husband’s steak sub was good. My oyster po boy not so good. The oysters very mushy and there wasn’t enough sauce to hide it. The bread was good. Our waitress was lovely. Caring, funny and willing to go the whole nine yards for us.
