Love this place. Usually get the brisket sandwich, which is great, and it has the only restaurant potato salad I’ve ever enjoyed. The staff is super nice, and if you eat out back, you can look at the statue of Bigfoot across the street while dining.

We got the rack of ribs and the pulled pork sandwich. They were delicious!!! They were busy but the girls were pleasant and helpful. And the wait was not long. Definitely will go back there.
Very tasty baby back ribs, the meat is very juicy, aromatic, and shakes off the bones. Pull pork is very good too. Highly recommended If you are in this neighborhood.

We used Smokin' D's to cater our 50th anniversary barbecue celebration. We went for a tasting on-site and exchanged phone numbers which made planning easy. We found Catherine to be a pleasure to work with. She assisted me in developing a menu and was very helpful in determining quantity and variety of food. Their prices were reasonable--and the quality of the meats was excellent. Catherine was comfortable texting with me, always responding quickly to clarify details important to the success of the day. Our final count was due just one week before the event which allowed us lots of time to confirm with our guests. Their catering menu was extensive, but we selected boneless chicken thighs, baby backed ribs and coleslaw. There were three different sauces to choose from, but we simplified things by simply using the classic red sauce. The day of the event the hot items were packed into a 'hot box' at a pick up time that was convenient for us. The hot entrees stayed at a perfect temperature. Because we had sterno supplies, we did not use their set up, but Catherine still carefully explained the procedure to us. We returned the 'hot box' a few days after the event. My guests RAVED about the food. I could not have been more pleased with my decision to have Smokin D's cater my party.

How about a relaxed BBQ picnic? Enjoy the outdoors, grab a picnic table, listen to some live music, and partake of some excellent BBQ! I loved the friendly atmosphere and the entrepreneurial spirit of the place. It seemed as though the whole family enjoys coming out on the weekends to serve you. There's a food truck with excellent BBQ. There's also a fruit & veg stand. There's also a young lad selling a variety of homemade pickles & framed drone-photos of the sights of Sussex county. Hmmm... ... I'm wondering if anyone in the family wants to brew some beer? :)We did takeout and had a wonderful dinner at home by making some healthy veggie sides to complement the excellent chicken and ribs. Like many BBQ places, their food takes time to make, and they strive to avoid waste. Thus, one should expect them to sell out on their busier days. I would recommend to get there early and/or call to place an order. Please note that they are only open Saturday and Sunday.
