My husband was a patient in Christiana Hospital. I had breakfast and lunch in Au Bon Pan everyday. Excellent menu selections, everything I ordered was delicious. Chicken Noodle Soup hot and very tasty. Breakfast sandwiches were cooked well and country grilled cheese sandwich were excellent. My main meal on the go was the create your own salads with fresh romaine, chicken, boiled eggs, extra raisins, avocado, asiago cheese and a mixture of balsamic vinegar and ranch salad dressing chopped up well. I still come back to Christiana hospital just to order my salad.

June 25,2023- 2:45 pm went down to get a salad. The guy said we close at 3 (website says close at 4) and the ovens already closed and he refused to make a salad and also refused to just say we are closed now.I asked well can I get a salad and he kept repeating we close at 3. I said so you’re closed then thanks anyway. And he yelled as I was walking out Have a great day and laughed.No big deal if you are closed but just say we aren’t taking orders now.

Ate here today, I don’t leave many reviews but I felt the need to leave this one. Was visiting a family member today, I wanted to get food for my wife and father in law. My first time here, not my wife’s. I don’t understand the one star reviews. The food was tasty, fresh, the sandwich I ate was on fresh bread and that bread was amazing. I’d give an honest 7.5 out of 10 for sandwich’s and wraps. Where this place shined was the customer service. From the young lady who took my order, to the cashier, to the manager as assistance was needed to split my order, they went beyond professional to being friendly. I’ll be visiting the hospital over the course of the next week and will certainly give them my business. Thank all of you for giving me some light conversation and friendly service during an otherwise stressful day. 10/10 employees.

The food was great but the nasty man behind the counter threw the sandwichs on the counter and I asked for extra mayo I put plenty on it in a nasty tone he is very nasty and had no reason to act like that about mayo see why he has no help change your attitude SIR

Don't order online here. It's never made with the adjustments. I ordered a Chipotle Turkey sandwich with no cheese for dairy issues and a rustic baguette instead of the default ciabatta. I got a sandwich with ciabatta and cheese. I paid for food that went straight in the trash
The food at the cafeteria provides better options, service, and value if you have to decide between the two. This Au Bon Pain is always extremely limited. When I tried to do rapid pickup they didn’t have the items ordered and then I had to see refund from corporate. The service was curt and not very friendly, which I found disappointing considering the location.

Other reviews were so/so about the coffee, but I always feel I need to try it myself and glad I did. Oh and the oatmeal raisin cookie very yummy. I would also like to add the people who work there are very very nice! Very helpful and friendly, very patient, very kind. My experiences in Au Bon Pan have been very good!
