Super cute local UD coffee spot off main st. I stopped by on their anniversary day and got a latte. I wanted to love it but my latte was more milk than espresso. I plan on trying them again as they have gluten free pastries which I LOVED. If you need a quick pit stop for coffee this is your place!

Amazing & friendly staff. However, prices are OUTRAGEOUS. Oat milk should NEVER be an extra 95 cents. Their espresso isn't strong enough and the coffee is just mid. Seriously Bings needs to do something about these prices. I noticed they spelled hamantaschen wrong in their pastry case which is funny. If you're going to carry a food that doesn't belong to your culture, spell it right.

Everyone is always so nice and inviting! If you are going to get anything to eat I would definitely recommend the chicken salad sandwich. Chef Hanley really makes sure it is fresh and flavorful, not to mention it is on a croissant!

Consistently plays great music while I do remote work or chat with a friend. Workers are very nice (and usually singing along while they make food/drinks) service is timely and always inviting. It might get busy but never feels crowded.As of 2/28/2024 it is the best cafe in Newark.Parking: There is a free spot behind the amstel square complex with free parking that almost always has a spot. Don't use the street parking unless you have to.

Did a shopping tour, and this was one of the stops on the tour from Harrisburg,PA, so I've never been here before. Parking is street parking that you have to pay. We actually didn't realize this until we left, oops. We went on a Saturday at about 9:30 AM. I thought it would be super busy because it's across from the University of Delaware. However, it wasn't busy at all, which was very nice. The cashier was super nice. They had a seasonal drink, so I got a medium Peppermint mocha for $5.15 for my mom she said it was made perfect and tasted so good! I decided on the large Bings mocha, which she said is the #1 seller for $5.95. It was seriously absolutely amazing!! I wish I lived closer so I could have again and again. For food, my mom decided on everything bagel with plain cream cheese for $3.00. It was simple, yes, but the bagel was yummy with just the right amount of cream cheese.
Atmosphere is warm. Food excellent. Staff exceptionally helpful and congenial! Well worth a visit or two.
