This place feels like home! The people there are friendly and very helpful. They carry lots of different things than other stores so there’s always something new. This is definitely my favorite place to shop!

Iced coffee is organic and delicious...and it only costs $2.49 for 20oz. cup! Iced matcha latte is also great. Great customer service and very nice, friendly atmosphere!

Love the smoothies, vegan desserts and food options. Easy enough to order after shopping in the Natural Foods market. Also, the staff is always pleasant.

Simple menu but good food. I liked the falafel sandwich.

Really enjoyed the food here and I like that it is community owned. The prices are also very reasonable and the food is super fresh. I got the buffalo chicken panini and my sister-in-law got the 302 BLT. I tried a bite of the BLT and it was delicious. The panini was also fantastic. I highly recommend visiting here and trying the food. It is also attached to a grocery store.

Love there gluten free bread. I had the egg sandwich. I wish they would sell it.

If you like coffee, vegan food, and good prices, come here. Can't speak to other reviewers on hot bar, but don't pass up this gem. They have a breakfast combo- for $5, you can get a breakfast burrito (I get tofu, vegan cheese, vegan bacon, and spinach- but non-vegan options available) AND an iced coffee with an alternate milk. That's crazy! The coffee tastes amazing. They have lots of great vegan desserts- sometimes not the most fresh, but a good deal. Staff is always super nice. Go here for cheap vegan fare and coffee!

Visited them for the first time today. Got the banana bread smoothie with oat milk and plant protein. I have to say it was great! Customer service was amazing as well. I’ll be back.

Well, I don’t go all the way back to 1967, but I have been a customer of the Newark Co-op since it was in its original location on Haines St.! It has been a delight to watch them grow from their humble beginnings into the full-service market and cafe they have become. I especially love the weekly farmer’s market, and look forward to Sundays. Since this review is about Café 67 only, I’ll stick to this part of the complex from here on. Starting in the back are is the deli case, where fresh sliced cold cuts are available, but also a wide variety of prepared foods, all made in-house. From vegan entrees to meat-loaf, there’s something for everyone. They will also prepare sandwiches. A little closer to the front is the dessert case...pastries, cakes, and other sweets almost make you forget that Newark’s best bakery, Bing’s, is right across the street. I guess if you are on a gluten free or vegan diet, though, this is your place. Up front is the eponymous Café. Here’s a wide variety of coffee drinks, teas, and smoothies, all expertly made by friendly staff. Newark Natural Foods is the only place in town to shop, so why not pick up some yummy food and beverages to go?

Got a coffee and a vegan cupcake. Didn't see non-vegan options for sweets. Coffee was meh, cupcake was inedible.
