I thought the Newark location was one of the better ones, however I purchased a large cheese steak which cost me over $22 and the paper is saturated with oil. The manager Michelle says it’s juice from the steak, beef makes oil/grease where I come from. She made no effort to rectify the situation. She wasn’t even apologetic and that there was nothing she could do about it, because it was 45 minutes or so later. What? Really?Mind you although I purchased it in newark and I live in NewCastle 45 min or so before I got home, it shouldn’t look like this. I’m anticipating my bread to be soggy.??♀️. What a waste of my hard earned money!!!

One of the guys in the back rudely told me to take my dog out. Lack of professionalism. That could have been handled very differently by the guy. I obliged and left but felt disrespected. I will never recommend this sub shop to anyone.

Ordered peppers on the side and did not get them. Found a huge piece of skin and cartilage in turkey sub. Also had cranberry in the sub that was supposed to be regular. Ruined the whole sub as I don’t eat cranberries!

I explained to the boy that everything needs to be on the side. I thought he understood but when we had to go over the basics on how sandwiches I feel like I might have given him too much credit. Every. Single. Time they mess up the order and did not separate the condiments-lettuce, tomatoes etc. Once again highly disappointed!

I hadn't eaten from Capriotti's in years. Ordered a cheesesteak through DoorDash not only was it abundant burritos also tender and juicy. Nothings changed at Capriotti's.

Just purchased the half sub/half salad combo with a straight homemade turkey sub. I requested a Balsamic chicken salad and requested turkey instead of chicken. Was was up charged $1.79 for this change even though the chicken and turkey salads are the same price. When I complained to the counter guy he said that he didn't do it and that the computer does automatically. I told him to let his management know that I said it was unfair and that they lost a regular customer.Parking: No convenient handicapped parking.

This is the second time in a row we called in our order for 2 subs and neither one had the right ingredients. In fact, the only thing on our subs was the meat and lettuce. All else was missing. The first time I called to complain and they told me I would get a credit on my card the next day. That never happened. Very disappointed as Caprriotti's used to be our favorite local sub shop. No more!!! We will find a new favorite in Newark.
Tried fo order online but online system does not allow substitution from suggested cheese for chicken cheesesteak. Only provolone with no option to change it besides selecting no cheese. This forced me to do a call in order. They obviously want you to use online ordering as I was on hold for 12 minutes before I hung up and ordered from a competitor instead. Fix your online ordering or do better with the phones. You lost a large order tonight of 7 sandwiches.

Before I start off I would like to say that they did refund us for our order but I still feel like people should know that if they order from here it’s most likely your order will be messed up. We started off by calling in an order for a cheeseteak and a sub, we asked for extra oil on our sub and it had none. We also asked for our sub to have NO sweet peppers, which it DID have sweet peppers. Second, when we called in for the cheesesteak we said “NO mushrooms but want the ketchup and fried onions”. When we got home there were no mushrooms thank god but there also wasn’t ketchup or fried onions (which to my knowledge fried onions come on the cheesesteak anyway unless you ask for it without. We already drove out of our way bc the closest capriottis to us also sucks. We called and let them know and that we would just get a new cheesesteak from the capriottis near us but unfortunately they ran out of bread so we ended up having to go back to this one again. Finally we get the food home and there’s ketchup this time but still NO fried onions. To some people may seem like whatever but when you’re hungry and excited for what you’re about to eat it sucks when it’s not made the way you were hoping. Also by looking at the other reviews it seems that others also have a hard time with this Capriottis. So either I’d recommend picking a different location or just going to Casapullas ??♀️

Absolutely the best store around i actually drive away from my closest capriottis store location and right past another location because the service quality of the food and the atmosphere completely blows the others off the map!! and often question why the Kirkwood Hwy location is even still open? anyways i drive 30min both ways for a cheese steak and never disappointed⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
