Typical college bar, cheap drinks disproportionately made, overpriced food for the portion and quality. Take at least one day off a month to do a freaking bar clean, every glass was filthy, silverware dirty, food stuck to the bar. The menus were absolutely disgusting, caked with sticky food and alcohol spills. Place smelled like stale alcohol and vomit. The bartenders did the best they could, still searching everywhere for ingredients to drinks listed on a drink menu. Get some control over your workspace. Dont even bother with the desserts, should have known better after double digit red flags.

Went here and gave them my license but they refused to let me in because they said they “didn’t like my license” so I suggested they scan it but instead they were incredibly rude to me and and said “get out of here” I have been coming here every weekend for a while but I will never be coming back after how they treated me. I would recommend people go to grottos instead the staff is a lot nicer and is a better time in general

One of the only Originals still at University of Delaware Main Street. Great atmosphere with lots of History. Can be busy at times so reservations are recommended Plus parking can be difficult if lot is full but always a good experience especially on a nice day upstairs on the deck. Food can be a little pricey but always comes out hot.

I have been going to Deer Park for the past few years and love it! The food, service and atmosphere are amazing. My daughter (a UD student who also loves Deer park) and I go there and meet up there each week for dinner and can’t think of another place we would rather go. We love Juice, Ryan and Jayme just to name a few of their amazing bartenders. They are always so friendly and make our experience even more enjoyable. If you’re a student, or just visiting town or even a local (like I’ve become lol), there’s something for everyone!

So much line cutting when you’re trying to go upstairs on the weekend then I get upstairs till like 20 minutes before closing. I asked the guy with the corn rolls. Yes the black guy he didn’t care he said why am I snitching? It’s not about snitching it’s about creating a better experience for people that have to wait over an hour in line and then others just cut through the front. Obviously he doesn’t care, that’s not right
The place is great, and the food is awesome.We were a group of 7 people, and the pizza and French fries they served tasted good. For dessert, we had an ice cream sandwich with cookies that was the best I've had in Newark. Although we didn't opt for beer, others in our group were quite satisfied with the beer and snacks. The most attractive aspect of the restaurant is the decoration, including a roaster they've placed in a display box.We were served well and taken care of.I recommend this place.
