I recently tried the Little Spice Chef's special chicken curry, and I must say, it was exceptional. The flavors were rich and authentic, leaving me craving more.

The place itself is not very clean and very rushed over the weekend. But their food is the best Indian food you can get in Delaware. Their biryani is consistently good and so is their chicken ( karampodi kodi)Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options including paneer, gobi, bhendi etc

A very very good restaurant! Phenomenal food quality and flavor. One of the very few places in US where even our mom who is a "home cooked only" person ate very happily! We ordered 5 items and all of them were bang on point. Also very helpful and friendly staff! Plus it's a very short detour off of the highway which is a big plus and makes it a very easy way-stop on a trip between Ny and DC or Baltimore!

I was really impressed when I recently went to dinner. The food was delicious, the service was flawless, and the atmosphere was charming. With just the freshest ingredients, each dish was expertly prepared and oozing with flavor. You will not be let down. All in all, it was a wonderful eating experience that I hope to have again.

If you are wanting Indian food while in Delaware this is the place to go! They don't mess around with their spice so if you want heat, you don't have to look much further and if you like it mild make sure to make that very clear! Had it both as takeout and as dine in, both incredible experiences and the servers are always so helpful!

My first time, first impression(s) of Little Spice Indian Cuisine, Sunday evening for dinner. From the outside, this place looks like a dive. When I see plenty of cars parked outside a dive, my expectations go up. What follows is my truthful opinion -- truth is an affirmative defense.Upon opening the door, the aroma was very pleasant... and that is the only positive thing about my experience.Immediately, I was accosted by the sound of screaming children -- an immediate turn-off. And apparently, the parents at multiple tables were content to shout over the cacophony of whining, crying and piercing screams. It was an unholy disenchantment, to say the least, that would persist until I left.I was greeted and pointed to a table. This booth was the best of bad choices. Both the bench seat and chairs were in a condition unfit for purpose. It looked as if there were food particles ground into the cracks where attempts to "tape" or "hide" had long since failed. Just gross. After carefully seating myself, I waited for a menu that would never come. I was approached and directed to the QR code for the menu and to order. Now let me take a moment of personal privilege...Digital menus in a sit-down restaurant where there are order takers and servers is a dining ABOMINATION. No "green," "tree-saving" COVID argument can defend such a stupid business decision; or are you too lazy to clean properly?Returning to the review --While I explored the digital menu and adding things to my "cart," I was delivered a cheap, tepid, no-name-brand bottle of water. The menu clearly identified "bottled water" as a menu item costing $0.99. I think it is terribly rude to deliver something that a customer will be charged for without the customer asking. And if you are going to charge for water, you better have posh water worth selling, not something from a bargain, big-box store. And I should be asked if I want it still or sparkling and if it should be chilled. For a restaurant that apparently has a reputation for serving very spicy food, this is a business decision absurdity. So I sent the bottle of water back, entirely untouched and certainly unopened. And the "waiter" seemed both confused and irritated when I asked for tap water in a glass with ice. There are tap water quality and cleanliness regulations, for a reason. If the tap water is not good enough to drink, then it also should not be used in cooking or cleaning. A clean glass of water (with or without ice) is the minimum one should expect from any sit-down restaurant.Up to this point, I had maintained a tolerant and hopeful attitude, pushing past all the stupid restaurant management failures. Then came the digital ordering frustrations that together with everything else crossed my "red line in the sand." Repeated cart failures. Checkout failures. AND FINALLY, before I could checkout, they demanded all my contact information -- no, No, NO! There is no reason to require my contact information to order or pay for a meal in a sit-down restaurant. That is a privilege that must be earned.I had had enough. I stood to leave. As a courtesy, I briefly let the people at the cashier stand know I was leaving and why. I was told they could fix it... that I could order directly, but my dining experience had already been so thoroughly trashed; there was nothing they could do to "fix it."There is no amount of excellence (food or service) that can "fix" the combination of problems I encountered before I was even able to successfully order food or drink.First impressions are powerful. They may have good food. I'll never know because they have made such horrifying business management decisions that I'm unwilling to eat there even if they offered to feed me for free.I've read your reviews, don't bother with the trite "we don't have your contact information" bit.. exactly.I am unwilling to give this restaurant a second try. Someday, someone I know may invite me to dine there with them. If/

One of my most favorite restaurants in DE! It has everything one likes: great food, good customer service and nice dining experience. The atmosphere is good and the servers are very polite and welcoming.I have been to this South Indian dining a couple of times and it never bored me as the menu has lots of great options to choose from. I have had malai kofta, garlic naan, chili garlic naan , little spice special chicken curry, chicken biryani, gobi Manchurian, butter naan, chicken 65 etc. The highlight was the Mixed Veg Kurma as it was something unique and enhanced our taste buds.A must recommended if one is in town!!Vegetarian options: There are plenty of options for vegetarians.Parking: Ample parking spots.

Amazing food quality and great service. I've had pomfret fish in nyc to Nj to all over the world. This dish matches our South Indian taste buds. It's spicy like Indian spicy! They use fresh ingredients, also give free rice and it is fluffy basmati rice. Highly recommend Indian restaurant to everyone that likes spicy and flavorful Indian dishes. This is my 7th order of this fish. Best Indian restaurant in DE. Ever since they have opened up. Amazing family owned business and very clean and neat. They stuff the fish with the masala so well! Every bite is SO DELICIOUS and mouth watering. Fish easily flakes off the bones and flavor is amazing.

Slow service but great food. The combination of this makes me wonder if they only start preparing the dish once you place the order - this is both great and not so great.Patrons beware - the coffee although says filter coffee is not made using filter coffee, it is merely instant coffee. Learnt this on asking for additional decoction to make my coffee stronger and an instant coffee powder was brought out.

One of the best Indian Restaurant around this area. I loved everything there, my favourite dishes are their Gobi 65, Malai Kofta, Spring Rolls and Tomato soup. We are vegetarian and we never had any issues in ordering. Staff is so friendly and welcoming. I’m shifting to another place but I’ll definitely miss coming here. Thank you❤️

So wanted to go to an Indian restaurant. So Lets Dish!It is a dine in or take out. Unless you are just dropping in with some co-workers for a quick lunch I suggest take out. The cushion seats are ripped apart. The establishment just needs some repair. The tables need some cleaning. Now here is the good news. The food was delicious. The Naam bread was a little to burnt at the bottom. But the rice was perfect and the samosas were delicious. I would go back but for take out only ?
