Not a fan of black women here. Not nice bartenders or mangers. Athena included but she’s not the only one. I think that’s just what it is here. Always the same not welcoming experience.I’ve went home with the wrong orders here many times and didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to be a problem but I’m over it. I paid for the food I should be able to say that it’s not okay if it’s not ok.Update: Athena did come back with the missing items. I just wish the initial approach was different. I bartended for 5yrs and never approached a guest like that.Secret shopper would have a field day here.

The service was so terrible last night and after receiving my bill I understood why. It’s a %20 gratuity fee for drinks and service. The waitress wasn’t attentive at all, we had to go the bar for more drinks. The waitress didn’t empty unused glasses and dishes. Our table was congested and we had to take the dishes off ourselves. She had the nerve to ask if we wanted our change back. The arrogance and laziness I couldn’t believe. The place was not busy and we were 1 of 2 tables that were being serviced there last night. They weren’t short staffed. I was invited out by colleagues from Christiana hospital and I definitely would not be going back.

Got the Buffalo Chicken sandwich and the French Dip sandwich. The French Dip sandwich was good but didn't have enough cheese and horseradish mayo. The rosemary Au Jus it came with was good in flavor but the meat itself needed more flavor and seasoning. The Buffalo Chicken sandwich was honestly terrible. Tasted like a frozen chicken tender that they just put in the microwave. Had no flavor and was not crispy at all. Also had little to no buffalo sauce. The fries it came with were bland and underdone. Again, they tasted like just frozen fries I could get at any store. The least they could do is season them. The fact they are charging $20 and $17 for these sandwiches is ridiculous. That's just robbery lol. Don't come here unless you want to pay over $15 per meal for frozen food.

It was so nice that in the midst of a soggy and cloudy day we could gather for a mid-afternoon meal with friends, good food and service, and a peaceful place to talk.Parking: We parked in front of the restaurant and there was very light traffic due to the weather.

Worst place to visit if you are not white with blue eyes or brown
I am a latino person, came to this place for a beer after work, thinking I would be welcome just like a normal customer would be judging by my standards, but found out the hard way Latinos are not welcome in this place, I came to the bar and was ignored like I didn't exist, i had to actually beg the bartender to serve me a beer, I could actually feel I wasn't even welcomed there just by my appearance but stayed just to hold my ground, the whole time I was there they made me feel so miserable, I tried to explain the situation to the manager in shift but instead of him listening to me he told me the bartender had already kicked me out so he justwalkedaway, what I saw is people working there actually hate their job just like 3rd class employees, i was just trying to explain to him what was going on and that was his answer like if I owed him something. I don't think I need to explain anymore what really happened but from this short story anyone can assume what actually happened, so please if you identity yourself a latino please have some pride and don't ever go visit this place even if it was the last place standing on earth, have some pride please and take this example as how you're actually seen by these kind of people just remember how they see you as; as nothing, they're just a disgraceful race where we'll never be accepted.

Salmon special was delicious. Wings are also great. Hamburgers were very good.
Really nice lunch place and the food was excellent, but the portions are too large. I couldn't eat more than half of the giant burger and just 20% of the delicious fries. I'd rather get smaller portions and order more if I'm still hungry rather than over eat trying not to trash food I bought. Service was outstanding. Just the right balance of attention without being intrusive! Very polite and well timed. Food was prepared and served very quickly and cooked exactly as ordered. I highly recommend this place, but be prepared for left overs.
