Ava's Detroit style pizza!! I had the plain cheese to set a baseline, and the baseline is well above average (closer to perfect). The crust, the sauce, the cheese! Maybe I'm biased cuz I like pizza, and who doesn't. If you want an upscale dining experience but are still in the mood for that heaven on a rectangle piece of dough(that's how they're Detroit Pizza is), definitely give them a try.

Ava's is great! Our second time within a few weeks. The Detroit style pizza is a crowd pleaser, but the beignets are a must have for dessert! Staff is friendly and attentive. The managers are always around giving a helping hand where needed, which is a nice thing to see!

When you first opened, Ava's quickly became our favorite place for pizza, great crusts to choose from, lots of toppings. Lately, while the crust is still good, one has to go in search of the pepperoni or feta or whatever topping is supposed to be on it. Last night was okay, good negroni, but the pizza, please go back to putting more ingredients on the pie rather than having to guess if it's there or not. Our server Bruce was very good.

The brick oven Neapolitan pizza and Detroit style pizza is OUTSTANDING!! The service, OUTSTANDING! To top things off, they offer beignets as a dessert option. Better than Cafe Du Monde.

We tried the Detroit style pizza, and it was delicious! Unfortunately, there was a very loud table next to us, so that detracted a bit from the ambience. But it won't stop me from going back!

We had an amazing experience at Ava's! The staff was so helpful and very attentive and the food was excellent. Everything is scratch made in the kitchen period. I highly recommend stopping here.

I have a group of friends with whom this is our go to place. It's convenient, welcoming. Food is great. Our welcome is always great, and we always stay too long. Manager Cody and server Brigett took great care of us this week. Nothing new. We always are looked after so well. Oh and the meatballs!!!

The service and the food were excellent. Brigette was our server and she could've not had done a better job. Everything was delicious and the whole atmosphere was very welcoming.
The food was ok. The meatballs and spaghetti needed more sauce and the meatballs had too much breading. But overall it was ok. Our waitress Didn't know much of menu because she didn't like many of the items so that was not a good attribute of the service.
waitress needs more training in customer service. bussed our table,scraping food off plates in front of us almost hitting us with flying food. Could have done this after removing plates from table. Each request was met with a negative comment rather than a let me show you if this is what you want. beignets are not traditional NOLA kind, light and fluffy on the inside crispy on the outside. They tasted more like pizza dough or hard doughnuts.

Greeting was warm and friendly. Table with chair and bench seating was comfortable and well spaced from other tables. Our server, Treasure, was knowledgeable and very friendly and made several suggestions. We ordered some of the suggestions and were not disappointed. Salads were large and very fresh. The pizzas were amazing. And the meatballs, highly recommended, were very, very good. We left with lots of leftovers and will definitely return.

Great pizza and food restaurant. We love it there for their Detroit pizza but everything we have had is good. Homemade potato chips, appetizers meatballs and dinners are great. The dessert of beignets are amazing ! Definitely make a reservation in season or get there early when they open. Staff is great.

Pizza was acceptable for the wait time, our waitress, Paige, was phenomenal and was very knowledgeable of both the food, beverages, and history of the restaurant. Will definitely be back!
