Great location. The food was good overall. Short wait for a Saturday night, and the food came out quickly. Parking could be a challenge.

Party of five. Family members had previously recommended as they live in DE and have owned property in RB for 46 years. We had to eat with our fingers after sending the extremely dirty forks and knives back to the kitchen twice. Bathroom was disgusting. Had to potty at the hotel down the street. Food very average. If you like everything smothered in old bay with dirty utensils.... this is your place. We noticed other issues not worth mentioning. Go elsewhere.

I was there for their happy hour on Thursday 6/30. I arrived at 5:45. There were 2 staff serving the whole restaurant. The female staff almost broke into tears when she was taking orders at the many tables waiting to be served. She literally said that to the table next to us. When we ordered, I asked if how’s the kitchen - and she said their is only 1 chef… She also said there were 20+ crushers waiting to be made… We ordered anyways, but after 30 mins or so, when we can see that tables way ahead of us were still not being served, we had to leave before any food arrived.

I purchased a Groupon back in 2016 for Catchers in Rehoboth Beach, Rehoboth is about 30 miles from where we live, just didn't get up there, then came covid. Now retired, we have more time. I called Catchers and asked it they will honor my Groupon, I really did not worry about it as Groupon states that the Groupon's may expire on the "deal" but always retain the value you paid for them. You can turn them back in and apply the money you paid to a different deal also. When I called the person that answered the phone when I told him I had an old Groupon stated "Wow, that's probably 10 years old!" I said yes, expired in 2017. I asked if he would honor, he said sure, I asked if needed reservations, he said no, not now, raining cats and dogs! I told him I understood that I would only receive the valve that I paid for the Groupon, not the original deal. He yes, no problem just bring it in! We jumped in the car, yes raining hard, got there in about 45 minuets. Sadly, there weren't many customers, yes, rained out at the beach. We were greeted quickly by Owen, who said take a seat anywhere you like. When I told him we had an old Groupon and we had called, he said he would have to talk to the manager. He returned quickly and stated that we had 2 options, we could have 2 dozen oysters on the half shell and 2 craft beers or he would apply $19 to our bill. Well, we love raw oysters and the original Groupon was for a 12 oyster sampler and 2 beers. So not only was the manager going to honor the value of the Groupon he was offering a deal better than the original one! We took them up on the 2 dozen and the beers! Beers came first, quick and cold, then the oysters quicker than I could shuck them! Oysters were delicious, presented properly in a tray with crushed ice, 2 oyster forks, horseradish, lemon, and cocktail sauce! The proper way to serve raw oysters. The server, a young gentleman by the name of Owen then stated that happy hour included all appetizers at half price and drink specials! Well we couldn't pass that up especially after seeing how they handled the Groupon and presented the oysters. We enjoyed stuffed mushrooms, bacon wrapped scallops, fried oyster and steamed clams! A few more beers to boot! When it came time to settle up Owen brought the bill, $37.50 I was shocked! We had already paid $20 for the Groupon but added together what a bargain at $57.50. Owen was such a great kid, we guessed his age, I was at 19, my wife guessed 17, he stated 18. He talked about his future college plans, and the crazy people we deal with living in Ocean City MD in the summer. A delight to have a great server with personality. We knew we could not direct any additional funds to the restaurant so we gave Owen a $50 tip as we appreciated the management being more than fair with the Groupon, we only expected $20 in value for it, and we were there by chance for happy hour. When I showed Owen the tip he said you're going to give me a $50 tip? We said yes, the meal was too much of a bargain, and he was a great server. I stated that we felt we couldn't pay the restaurant any more so we would do it by rewarding him! He was such a good server I couldn't believe what he said then, he was going to share with the manager which I assume was the owner! There are still great owners, managers, servers and kids in the industry! We tried to redeem Got Spot deals we had for The 45th Street Tap House in Ocean City that expired in Dec 2021 and they said they couldn't. I called the office left a message, sent an email to their web site, have never heard anything from them. I will be dealing with them through the Consumer Protection Agency which states the Got Spot deal are good for the value paid for 4 years in Maryland and 5 years by the Feds. What a difference in ownership and management, Won't recommend the Tap House but sure will Catchers! Even though far for us, we will return to Catchers!

Catchers was a surprisingly delicious find during a day trip to Rehoboth. From the super knowledgeable and helpful waiter to the hot and fresh seafood platters, we could not have asked for a better experience. They also offered $5 drinks! I highly recommend stopping by here after a long day at the beach.

This is a small basic looking restaurant. That is being nice it is ugly butt casual feel. but what it lacks in ambience it makes up for with food and delicious crushes! I had the three lobster tail meal and my husband had two crabcakes. Both were delicious! I was pleasantly surprised because I did not know what to expect and it was our first time there. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good meal and a casual experience and drinks. I would have given it a five but the atmosphere. So if atmosphere does not matter to you it would be a five star:)

Catcher's is the best! Family owned and drun since 1994. Roland and his lovely daughter Kelsey make one and all feel at home. The drinks ate amazing and the food is awesome. They have, by far, tge best bacon wrapped Scallops in town! And I always ask for the Raspberry sauce with them cuz its DELISH! They also have the best crabs!

The food was good. I had spicy shrimp tacos but I thought they should have had lettuce on them as well. The young man who serviced our table was nice and accommodating but he kept taking his hat off and brushing through his hair with his finger at each table he served. I mentioned it to him about him brushing through his hair with his fingers and he just smiled. I don’t think he understood that after messing with his hair he should have washed his hands.

Prices were very reasonable, the crushes were good as well as the margaritas. I had the Fried lobster and stuffed shrimp that was excellent. I sampled some of my parties meal and theirs was just as good. The place was busy and took a while for our meal, but our waitress did a good job and it was well worth the wait. Put this restaurant on your list when visiting the area.

Best kept secret in Rehobath Beach! Crab bisque soup was excellent! Great price for oysters on the half shell. We had the broiled seafood dinner. It was delicious!

Really don't get involved with reviews , but.....decided to try this place because of all the 5stars . Even had correspondence with the owner. Even had a " so-called " reservation ( not needed ) . Love local eateries when vacationing. There were only 2 other tables being used. Seated immediately and order was given and drinks brought to the table. I understand all limitations that businesses are going thru !! However , one table was already eating and the other table just got their 3 buckets of crab legs .Twenty -five minutes later , the crab legs table was finished and I was still waiting for my soup / mussels. Never saw the waitress since the order..We walked out......Sorry
