Zero stars. Ugh. I went with a group of people who swore up and down it was their family's favorite thing ever -- an institution, the mecca, the gold standard of pizza, bar none. YUCK. I felt like I was back in the grade school cafeteria. Sweet pizza sauce, gooey cheese, bland bland bland. Wish I could have at least had a beer or something with it, maybe after a couple it would have tasted ok. Hard pass. How are there so many of these in town???

We ordered 2 slices with toppings. It wasn’t pleasant at all, not sure what all the hype is about. However, next time we’re visiting I will be sure to order a whole pizza to see if the quality is better.

Grottos seems to have a monopoly on the Rehoboth boardwalk pizza business, which is a shame because their pizza isn't nearly as good as old Nicola's (they moved out of town and operate in Lewes now). The pizza is still decent and was quickly devoured by my usually-picky kids while on the beach. Service is friendly and efficient, but don't be surprised at the high prices when you're eating right on the boardwalk.

Only giving this establishment three stars because of the quality of the pizza. Upon first glance the pizza looked appetizing but after getting it in my hands the dough felt loose and the slice was very lightly crafted. The pepperoni was lacking in quantity and the cheese was mediocre. If you are on the boardwalk this is definitely a pizza joint to stop in at but if you are looking for higher quality this may not be for you.

I grew up in Rehoboth and all I can say is that if you want late night delivery grotto's is the go to. If you want something to soak up the alcohol go for it. However, IMO Grotto's is a staple for the tourists. The pizza is nothing worth writing home about and the appetizers are comparable to something you put in the oven from the grocery store. Found a Q-tip in a chicken cheese steak delivery once but that was years ago. A little pricey.

The pizza and calzone is utter trash. But I'm giving 2 stars for those grotto style house wings. My god is that sauce good. They should rebrand as a chicken only location and dump pizza, because honestly...it's trash

This is me and my family spot ,best pizza in the world,every time,everything on menu is great , mouth watering goodness,first time here 1971 I was a baby my mom and father and whole family were here ,I've been here every year for 1 week since God bless jersey,new York pizza $uck and soo do the people

While spending a day at the beach, I walked over to get a slice. They were friendly and quick. The pizza was lukewarm and not all that great. You really are just paying for convenience and not flavor.
