This was by far the best meal I've had in years! The steaks, sauces, sides, everything was just perfect! Our waitress also couldn't have been sweeter. I wasn't sure if this place would live up to the hype, but it exceeded my expectations big time!! I can't wait to return! Highly recommend!!

We had an early reservation and there was only one other couple in the restaurant, yet we were seated right next to the kitchen. The portions of the filet Steaks that we had and the family style vegetables that we had were ridiculously small. I had to flag the waiter down to get a second glass of wine and to top it all off, we had told them that we were celebrating a milestone birthday for a good friend and we didn't receive so much as a cookie with a candle on it. Horrible experience. We were embarrassed to have taken a special friend, for a special birthday and to have had the experience we had.Signed....Disgusted in Delaware

I haven't been to Houston White for sometime; I wonder why for this evening was great: excellent service and food. This place might be spendy but a wonderful experience with my wife for a Saturday evening dinner was worth it.

Our first time having dinner at Houston White Co and we will definitely be back. We were celebrating our anniversary and they made us feel so special. Our server Andriy B was great. Very informative and explained everything, and was very attentive to us. His recommendations were great. We split the tomahawk steak and it was perfectly cooked and delicious. Everything was so good down to the desserts.Beautiful quaint restaurant and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. This is a must try place and we will be back.
Holy cow!!! No pun intended but, it you want the best quality and tasteful melt in your mouth steak, this is your place!!! I actually can't really express how amazing the steak was along with the ambiance of the warm, cozy feel of the restaurant! The waiter was the most attentive as well. We will be back!!

The restaurant is on the smaller side with a bar area up front. The wait staff usually must wait for each other to pass as the main walkway is a bit narrow. Even with that being the case, the restaurant noise level was good. I could see if you had a large group or a loud person or two, that it could really change the noise level quickly. The service is top notch and our waiter did a fabulous job. I could see that he was checking on the status of our salads to time our main course, which I appreciated. Our meal started with a Caesar salad which was large but on the bland side. Even with anchovies, fresh cracked pepper, and salt I felt like the flavor was lacking. The cheddar biscuit that was provided was very good. For our main course, my wife had lobster thermidor which she thought tasted good but felt there were more mushrooms than lobster meat and the meat that was in it was cut very small to the texture wasn't as luxurious. Advertised with frites they were just matchstick fries and nothing special. I had the Delmonico ribeye cooked medium rare. After eating the some of the steak, I feel I received the wrong steak even though they said it was the Delmonico steak when delivering it. The steak itself was leaner than I was expecting, it did not have a cap, was smaller and not as juicy as I thought it would be. I think they may have served me a barrel ribeye by mistake which is a smaller leaner cut. We had Brussel sprouts and the potato logs which were good not great. I did see the macaroni and cheese go by and that looked exceptionally good and would be my choice if I came back. All and all, not a bad meal but to pay over $300 for two people, I would expect more.
We routinely dine out twice a week, and hands down, the best steak in the area. My wife also though the crab cakes were above average. Our server, Andre nicely rounded out a very nice dining experience.

Food and service were excellent. Expensive, but it is a special occasion place. We knew this going in. So nice of them to give us each a complimentary glass of champagne as we sat down for our anniversary. We both had the filet. Cooked perfectly. Green beans were very tasty. Loved my potatoe leak soup. Desserts of vanilla cake and peanut butter pie were good but not outstanding. Our server, Riley was fantastic. We will be back for another special occasion.
Food was great except maybe the soup. Sweet potato lobster bisque. Tasted like a sweet potato pea soup with a piece of lobster in it. Was a little loud, due to the restaurant being small.

This was our second time to the restaurant and this time was one of the worst restaurant experiences we've ever had. First off there were 4 of us. Servers brought out 2 of our steaks and they served them to the couple at the table next to us. They were about to cut into their steaks when another restaurant employee realized the mistake, grabbed the plates, turned & sat them down at our table. We didn't say anything about the error, but were totally turned off by the unhygienic & careless way they handled this situation. On another note, our server was horrible, she practically threw our dinners at us, & totally ignored us for most of the evening us. During the evening the hostess came over to our table to ask how everything was, we were prepared to tell her about the events but she didn't even wait for our response & quickly moved on & away from our table. Won't go back.
