I ended up getting the wrong sandwich and it was 100% my fault for not looking at the screen to confirm my order or checking the bag until I got home. Not only did they give me the correct sandwich on my next visit on them, but they covered my drink I ordered as well. Their customer service was top tier and they were positive with no attitude’s towards my mistake.

I’m a barista at the North Dover Starbucks. I came to the Smyrna Starbucks on my day off to pick up an iced blonde oat milk vanilla latte with extra ice and classic syrup and when I pulled up to the window to pick up my drive-thru mobile order, the drink that the barista handed out to me literally looked like a watery iced coffee with maybe a splash of unshaken oat milk. It was a deep, dark brown color. I never come in and complain and ask for a remake, I just try to doctor it up at home or take the loss, but I spent nearly $6 on that drink and decided to go in and kindly ask for a remake. The barista who “helped” me was very defensive and told me that because I got vanilla and classic syrup with extra ice that my latte (which, lattes are made with like 75-80% milk), could only have a splash of milk in it. She asked me if I was sure I wanted extra ice because basically the drink would end up looking the same if she re-made it, apparently. I told her that I’ve had that exact drink dozens of times and it has never been that dark in color, not even close, and that if she didn’t want to put extra ice in it, that’s fine. She then told me again that she’d only be able to put a splash of milk in my latte to which I responded and told her that I am a barista at Starbucks as well, and I know how that drink is supposed to be made. I proceeded to tell her how I make it at my location, and she said, “that’s what I did. I’m the one who made the drink.” And I said, “okay well I’ve never seen that drink look that dark.” She handed me the drink, I said thank you, and she just walked away. I went in there as kind as could be and started off apologizing for having to complain and was met with a defensive, nasty attitude. At this point I just don’t want to order from Starbucks on my days off- I’ll stick to making my own drinks.

Denise, Felicia (she spells it differently, a cooler way ?) and Johnathan always go above and beyond for customers with an infectious positive attitude. The products are great but the staff at this location make it so much better.

Friendly staff every time I come through the drive
I was violently ill after drinking a hot peppermint mocha drink from this location yesterday. It smelled off to me but had a decent aftertaste. And I'm not a regular consumer of Starbucks, so I had nothing to compare it to. No one else in my home has had these symptoms. We've eaten the same meals all week. The only difference was that I had this coffee, which they thankfully did not consume. Wouldn't recommend unless, lol, to make a positive from a negative~You really want to drop 5 to 10 lbs just before your holiday gathering.Happy holidays!

I agree with another review that this location is hit or miss. Service was great and very friendly and the location is very nice but the drinks were way off. My latte had waaay too much milk and sweetener. It's like drinking sugar milk. I wish I could post a picture with my review, it looks white. My husband's drink tastes like it had extra pumps of peppermint. It's like they were winging the recipes. I've been here before and the drinks were great.
