Al Chu’s is a hidden gem located inside the DECO food court in downtown Wilmington. Overall great sushi, and you can’t beat the option of organic cantaloupe & pineapples. I’ve had a few rolls here but the Al Chu’s signature roll is a must try.

I will only eat Al's sushi from here on out. I loved sitting at Al's sushi bar when he was formerly at Mikimoto's and I always wondered where he went because I've never had sushi as delicious as his signature rolls. Well, it's been at least 15 years since I had a roll from the former restaurant and I've been everywhere trying to find ANY roll that could touch Al's Signature and California Sweet Dream.... I finally got downtown to DECO after seeing Al on the news....I am back in sushi heaven which is wherever Al is! I even brought my 8 year old who agreed....best sushi EVER. Al, I really appreciate you and your staff and will be back!

I decided to stop in here on a whim, was craving sushi and was lucky there was one inside of DE.CO. ended up being a fantastic idea. The sushi was very well made, tasted fresh, and the dumplings were unbelievable. Better believe I will be going here again.
I got a Poke Bowl to go here and it was the weirdest Poke Bowl as it really didn't have any vegetables and a bunch of fruit. It seemed like a Fruit Cocktail Salad with raw fish. I can't say I'd return here for food as it was the worst Poke Bowl I've ever had. The sauce was pretty good, but that's it.
