I attended a special event over a month ago and this place was the caterer that was used. There were no utensils on the tables, there were no servers there yet. I arrived an hour late and the caterer wasn’t even there with the food or anything. There was supposed to be mocktails being served but instead there was non- alcohol wine sitting on the counter. The party started at 2pm but the caterers did even start bringing up bottles of water for the guest to drink until 4:30. When they finally put out some fruits and vegetables there were no serving utensils or tongs so we had to use our fingers bc we didn’t even have utensils yet. We were getting papertowels out of the bathroom and ripping them off and passing them out. 75% of the food that was supposed to be there, wasn’t. They ended up bringing up cold mashed potatoes, green beans and lobster bisque soup around 6. The host had to pay extra for the DJ and photographer to stay longer since everything was so far behind. Most people had left waiting for food bc they were hungry and thirsty and frustrated. This special event was completely ruined. They can’t get the time back. People left early because there was no food and they missed out on special moments with the guest of honor and her father…. Who passed away a couple of days later. So they literally missed out on their last moments to spend with him and her bc they had to leave to go get food!!!!!The caterer assured them that she would make things right but nobody has heard a word from her. They have called and text several times. The only response they received was one stating that they were dealing with a fire in the building.I haven’t been able to find anything about a fire but I do see from a review posted 2 mths ago the owner responded that they have been closed for remodeling for the spring. Sooo that was before the event they were hired for. So if the business was closed, was there a kitchen fire or just another excuse? It has been over a month and they haven’t done the right thing.Very sad when a business owner looks you in the eyes and gives her word that she will make things right after ruining the entire day.I hope she will finally step up and do the right thing bc time is up in my opinion.

I came all the way from Dover, Delaware to visit Blume since many of my friends recommended this place. I arrived at 11am on Saturday just for the place to be closed. According to google and their Instagram they are supposed to be open at 9:30am. They could’ve at least updated on their Instagram page and/or story to let people know they won’t be opened. Highly disappointed at the professionalism displaced.

I gave the food one star because for the price? I expected something completely differentVegetarian options: Sorry to hear your veganKid-friendliness: Love kids, but go to I-hop. Seriously, we all pay for the atmosphere and expense for our food, and to have kids run around ruined a lot of the experience. Not fault of the restaurant at all, or pay it forward and pick up another tables check.

Upon first glance, this quaint spot on the corner seemed charming, almost easy to miss with a blink. However, upon entering, a strong kerosene smell was overwhelming, making me contemplate leaving due to both the scent and exceptionally slow service. Despite these challenges, we proceeded to order. Unfortunately, my salmon was so overcooked it was unrecognizable, and the chicken arrived raw. The saving grace was the divine egg, a deep-fried deviled egg with a hint of crab meat.To their credit, they didn't charge us, perhaps acknowledging the issues with the food. We even offered to pay for the divine eggs, but they declined. The waiter, not responsible for the cooking mishaps, received a generous tip. However, I won't be returning to this restaurant; it needs several improvements.

Where do I start I saw this place online and was excited then I saw it on Kelly drives and had to go. The parking is very tight and the restaurant it self needs so major TLC from the holes in the ceiling to the bar stools that don't offer much back support for an older person or someone who has back problems. The young man who greeted us and served us was friendly. We sat down on the barstools (that should have a foot bar to offer more support) because there is only one table with traditional seating .We pulled up the photos we saw online and was told to scan the menu which is a fraction of the items listed on the menu shown online. I got the cookie batter latte which was smaller than what is shown online and did not have the stuff around the rim so I asked why it was not served the way it is advertised and was simply told we don't do that anymore we got our drinks I went to stir my latte and discovered my spoon was dirty with dry food stuck to it SMH we ordered the Devine eggs with were good but the price is a little high since the amount of seafood that is put on them is scarce and the flowers on top don't make up for the high price, all in all I didn't think the food was that great the portions size is not the same as it was shown on tv especiallyfor the price point. For two people we had a bill of $140 and still left a great tip because I had no knowledge of the fact the gratitude was already add which I think is shameful. I don't believe I would return to this establishment.Parking: Too tight if you have a SUV

We have been here twice and have really wanted to like it here, but both times we've left disappointed. The last time we left freezing and disappointed. Beware if you sit near the window, there is a broken window pane and it was so cold, and I am someone who is usually hot, so for me to be shivering by the time we left, it was bad. The only employee working in the dining area didn't warn us or anything and we didn't see that it was broken until we had already sat and ordered. When we went the first time we ordered the fruity pebbles French toast and the chicken and waffles. The French toast looked amazing, but it was just a sugar bomb with no real discernible flavor other than sugar. Not the worst thing, but was just super sweet. The bf was very disappointed with the chicken, it looked great, but had no flavor. The last time we went the QR code only loaded a small menu, so not sure if the full menu was available or not. I ordered the cookie butter pancakes, bf gave the chicken a second chance and ordered the chicken sandwich, and we ordered the lobster Mac and cheese to split. The pancakes were actually pretty good with a warm cookie butter (tasted liked Biscoff not Speculoos) sauce poured over. I did take about half of them home. The chicken sandwich looked interesting with a blueberry sauce, but the bf said it really tasted liked pie filling and mayonnaise and the chicken didn't really taste like anything. The lobster Mac was my biggest disappointment. It was a creamy Mac that tasted like maybe had a quick torch to the top, but it wasn't baked. There was no seasoning, so it was pretty bland. We were there on a Sunday and it wasn't super busy, but it did take about 2 hours from being seated to finishing our food. We really want to like this place, but the prices and the repeated disappointment will probably prevent us from giving it 3 tries.

Menu is too complicated to pull off consistently. Food looked great but did not taste good. And you can’t make candied bacon with turkey bacon by pouring syrup on it. Building / tables / chairs are hurting. And it was $90 with tip for two people!!

Very disappointed. I arrived at 9:30 am. Was the only patron. I ordered shrimp and grits. The establishment was freezing cold. I waited until 10:40 am. Then I told them to cancel my order. They asked did I want to take it out. I replied no. I have been waiting for over an hour in this cold place. I was very disappointed and will not be recommending this establishment to anyone.

This hidden gem in Wilmington was amazing! It’s the owner and her team, so please be patient but the food was worth the wait. Everything was full of flavor. The food presentation was amazing! The menu has a large variety to choose from! The servings size is enough to share! Please visit this Gem, you will not be disappointed!

The food wasn’t bad, nor wasn’t the drinks. The overall atmosphere is great. I can admit , service was a little slow, but I understood, because there were far more patrons than staff. As far as food, I ordered, was decent , not bad. Would I return, absolutely. I recommend to the owner/manager that by adding some music for brunch hours would definitely give it a better experience, and even add more customers .Our waitress was very polite and attentive to add as well .
