Went there today and sat and had lunch. The ladies were polite and friendly and the food was awesome. Its a small intimate spot but it was cool to see how they interacted with their regular patrons and visitors alike... I love small intimate places like this, where it feels like everyone are friends and family.

When I say lobe I mean love!! Who ever made the food, prepped, fried etc it was done with love yo . I got the beef and chicken pastelillos and rice. Hitting prefer the beef n rice I had to stop eating to have for lunch the next day . LOVE ❤️

Food is relatively good. I did however have to comment on customer service and/or time management. Every time I order they say 20-30 min I come in 35 min and still am forced to wait longer. The attitudes are so so rude and unwelcoming. I also received an uncooked alcapurria de yuca. Reading her reviews confirms for me that the owner and her employees all have a serious attitude issue. Never seen any establishment go back and forth on reviews or get mad. Food is good just don’t like visiting because of the long wait times and rude and unwelcoming environment.

Highly recommend going here if you like Spanish Food. Because you will leave loving it and wanting more. We can’t wait to go back and bring my parents. The food was delicious and served nice and hot. The yellow rice and rice and beans taste just like my Abuela use to make. Everything was so fresh. The food tastes AMAZING !!! If I could give it 10 stars I would. You will not be disappointed with anything you order here.The people who work here are very friendly and nice. They have street parking or you can parking in the laundromat across the street from the restaurant.The have two table where you can dine inside.**********

I love getting takeout from Carmen's. If you're ever craving Puerto Rican food this is the place to go. The portions are huge and everything comes with a side of something Today I got a loaded platter of stewed beef with yellow rice and a side of beans + potato. Along with an order of mofongo with fried pork and a side salad to keep the ole cholesterol in check. The platters a hearty and will fill you all the way up Carmen truly is the sweetest gal. I love this place and I'll never stop coming back Call ahead - meals are made fresh to order (about 15-20 mins if they are busy)
