I always order from here and never have a complaint. However today I was eating my chicken lo mein no veggies with pork fried rice and a shard of metal got stuck in the back of my throat causing me to start choking. I know accidents happen but this could have been way worse as I was going to share this with my daughter !

Next to WaWa... I got shrimp lo mein and a shrimp and broccoli. This food was floating in grease, and it tasted like it was sitting in MOTHBALLS!!! The shrimp Lo mein combo had fried rice with pork.. l don't eat pork. And, my shrimp in the shrimp and broccoli were ORANGE in color, covered in a weird sauce. The bag l removed my food from was soaked in grease, and there was still an enormous amount of grease in the container. This was the worst Chinese food l have ever tasted, and it was completely inedible. The food was not fresh, it did not smell good, and the few bites l took tasted odd, like mothballs. I wasted my money, and l will NEVER go there again!

Small place, mostly for takeout or delivery - I've tried many other places, but Great Wall has been my go-to when I get a craving, for 16 years. My family has never had complaints like some other reviews. Would be nice if the place got fixed up a little more, but even with delivery the food is always super hot and freshly made!Vegetarian options: Delicious Tofu and Veggie options - I switch it up from time to timeDietary restrictions: They always take my requests into consideration

The restaurant looks like a hole in the wall. Run down needs an overhaul, feels like a shop in downtown Wilmington and if you have visited little places to eat in downtown Wilmington you know what I mean.

This place is amazing. My wife and I both agree it is the best Chinese food around.I am a door dasher and can attest that people order from here to have it delivered anywhere from downtown Wilmington, Elkton Maryland, and Kennett Square Pa.That is how great it is.

Food is very….interesting. I had the shrimp egg foo young and the rice didn’t feel quite done and the gravy was extremely thick. Flavor was edible but not amazing.

Just an FYI to anybody that is ordering from this place. DO NOT assume anything! Ordered sesame chicken because it is not spicy for children BUT their sesame chicken is spicy. So kids can’t eat it and will not accept refund unless you come to their restaurant. Sooo moral of the story is make sure you look at their menu even though they don’t have it online. Not recommended.

Order Chicken Chow mein and it didnt come with any noodles. Undercooked chicken and poor quality vegetables. The taste was pretty average. Wouldn’t eat here again. First and last time…

The broccoli was uneatable and the sesame chicken was made incredibly spicy even though I didn't ask for it every single thing I ordered sucks. Oh yeah the boneless spare ribs are pork chops cut up

The food was prepared exactly as requested, "spicy as if you were eating it". My husband loved it. The delivery was less than 30 minutes, I couldn't have been happier with Great Wall. I would add photos but it was gone in 6.6 seconds.

100% disgusting food. Szechuan was a fluorescent orange sweet sauce with a bunch of onions and but ends of green peppers. Rice was hard and undercooked. Everything tasted stale. Took a few bites and threw in the trash. Never again. Save your money.

They sell soggy shrimp with their shrimp & broccoli. I took the food back, the employee said that’s how they sell it. Before he gave my money back he had the nerve to say, “don’t order the Shrimp & Broccoli again.” I said “believe me, I will not.” I meant from that Resturant. I will never order from there again.
