It’s been many since I had the pleasure of dining at this gem in Delaware. I had good fortune of doing business with these folks when I distributed fine wines in Delaware in the past and it was a natural for my reunion luncheon with colleagues and friends to be held at this fun restaurant. There is indoor and outdoor dining, with a diverse menu, beverage offering and fine service. Our group enjoyed a variety of choices from wings, burgers and my tasty fish tacos. Sorry, I can’t include my usual array of photos, but be certain that when you patronage this Delaware institution, you won’t be disappointed! Very Highly Recommended!

I enjoyed my Sunday brunch with friends here. Some folks got breakfast stuff and I got a sandwich. The server was super friendly (and tolerated some hi-jinx from dad-jokes). I was also impressed with how large the restaurant was considering the relatively modest-looking front.

Good food, easy parking right out front. Service was excellent. Nothing memorable - but safe, clean and a good spot for an "on the road" dinner that surely beats the highway fast food spots. Looks like it could be busy on weekends - we were there midweek.

This restaurant is strictly following Covid protocols. Joe the bartender is a rock star!!! Great service very attentive. The food is very good and good value for the money. The chicken cordon bleu sandwich was huge and cooked to perfection. Keep up the great job!!

My solo trip into Wilmington afforded me the pleasure of enjoying a delicious 10 ounce real beef charbroiled burger called The Kid. It had a great charbroiled taste, was huge and very filling. Sadly the accompanying side of coleslaw was bland and tasteless. The bar atmosphere is CHEERS-like and has a great neighborhood feel to it. While the burger at $15.95 is pricey, its quality and sized balanced the value; on the other hand, $4 for a draft Yuengling is gouging!

Enjoyed Sunday Brunch today. They aren’t taking reservations. At 11 AM there was no wait for an inside table but a 20 minute wait for outside as it was a gorgeous day. Our server was very pleasant but the service itself was quite slow. Fortunately we enjoyed our get together so it wasn’t really an issue. I had a delightful grapefruit crush and they brought out their famous cinnamon rolls which are addictive! Don’t be shy - you can ask for more!! My Belgian waffle with fruit and whipped cream was yummy - but not a lot of fruit. Does come with your choice of bacon or sausage- and my bacon was nice and crisp as per my request. Tried the Deviled eggs - look nice but I’m not a fan of dill so not to my taste but everyone else liked them. Forgot to ask rest of our party about their dishes but as they cleaned their plates I’m assuming they were good. We’ve enjoyed this restaurant over the years - those cinnamon buns definitely keep us coming back!! Do recommend.

Fun place, good food, great service. Prefer sitting at the bar as the dining room is close quarters. Get there early though If you want a bar stool.

My wife and I stopped at Kid Shelleen's For lunch. When we got there the place was packed. We waited a short while and were then seated. The decibel level was very high during the lunch period and it was hard to hold a conversation without yelling. The place cleared out after the lunch menu expired and it was a lot easier to be able to talk and hear. My wife had the Eggs Benedict and I tried the Cowgirl Burger. The food and service were both very good. If you plan to visit and don't want to have to yell, come in after 2 PM. It should be a little quieter then.

We were there for the Sunday brunch. Extensive menu and everyone liked the food. The only downside is it is noisy but it was very busy.

Had the shrimp tacos. Although the flavor of the filling was good, the overly crispy flour shells ruined the dish. It would have been so much tastier with a soft shell. The chicken soup was very good.

Popped in Sunday afternoon, and while there was an Eagles game on, there were still booths available to sit and eat. We came specifically for the burgers, which did not disappoint. We love getting the pickles and peppers (a side dish) as our appetizer. Dessert was the half order of their brownie. All in all, a great meal.

Always a friendly welcoming spot. Superior bartenders and food that hits the spot. Located away from the main Trolley Square strip it offers plenty of free parking.
