I've been there 3 tines I get subs for elders who can't get there and the elders love there subs , but I don't like how the owner / any employee seems to treat you like a customer very cold, we are all people maybe they forgot about

The worst sub I’ve ever gotten from them.The roll was hard and stale and they are racist. I bet only the black people get the stale bread.

I'm a veteran and today I went to Jack's at 12pm and asked for a breakfast sandwich, then they stated no breakfast sandwich stopped making at 10:30am. This is ridiculous there is a huge grill, throw some scrapple on an egg and some cheese on top. Not very hard. Since I'm paying high prices for food there, feels like I'm getting mugged. The owners should be ashamed. Unless you start lowering your prices I will make sure everyone I know will be informed of your extremely high prices. ?

Excellent sliced turkey ( real turkey). Small cheesesteak REALLY SMALL but tasty.My 3 star rating is because, FINELY SHREDDED LETTUCE is better used on hoagies, it's less bitter and soggy, but no place in DE uses FINELY SHREDDED LETTUCE, ITS A SHAME.Lettuce leaves or chopped lettuce is sooooo bitter and soggy.FINELY SHREDDED LETTUCE gives the sandwiches a completely different taste for the better

Finally gave Country Maid a try. And goodness I am glad I did, the fresh turkey is my absolute favorite. The ladies who run the store are great. My mother in-laws goes there a lot. They adore her!
Jacks Country Maid Deli, 5605 Kirkwood Hwy, #5003, Wilmington, DE:I went inside to pick up my order a lady at the register was coughing real bad & even blew her nose in front of the Customers, no hand washing or germ-X, I wiped my paper bag down along with the paper wrap on the food before opening & prayed over it was the worst subs & chicken cheese steaks ever, they skimped on the meat & fillings. Next time I’ll go to Casapulas in elsmere. When I was leaving this lady went back to help make subs, not even wearing a mask or gloves. No wonder people pick up germs. She should be home, not around Food, Coughing everywhere, very nasty attitude also. SMH

I live in Philly but I stop by this place whenever I visit my parents. The service is always great, prices are reasonable, and the food is so full of flavor. I usually get a turkey hoagie.

I’ve been searching for a good sub for awhile, finally found it at Jacks. They know where to put the meat and cheese on the sandwich and where to place the veggies. Spot on! Just found my sub place, kinda sad I didn’t find it sooner!

Just got home with my Italian sub and took one bite and boom! Mayonnaise!! I told her oil and she put mayo on it! I hate mayo! Won’t be ordering from there anymore..
