Wow! We should have gone to Oath 84 sooner, because it's awesome. Super friendly staff, fantastic warm atmosphere, and a menu of creative, elevated dishes. We especially loved the beet salad and the buffalo chicken dip. We will definitely be back soon, and we love that they're just a block from Huxley & Hiro bookstore :) So happy to have Oath 84 in our community. Open late as well, even on a Wednesday!

Had my birthday dinner here and tried EVERYTHING! He's black owned which was a plus and the waiters knew how to describe the food on the menu which helped. It was a tad bit pricey but would def recommend and will be going back in a couple of weeks. The vibe inside the building was great as well, giving BLACK EXCELLENCE!

This was our first time visiting, we went on a Friday after work, sat at the bar, and were greeted warmly and provided with water and menu's. It was not crowded at this time. There was one Bartender on duty that we could see, and it took a while for us to order. Finally a 2nd Bartender came and took our order, which was timely because we were thinking of leaving. The drinks and food were excellent, and the service from the 2nd Bartender was great. He took the time to provide feedback on the menu, and help us decide on drinks and appetizers. Later in the evening, we no longer saw our Bartender, and there were noticeably more people there at this time.We could not get to order any more drinks or food, as the first Bartender who greeted us was the only one left.A young man that was restocking the bar, was kind enough to let the Bartender know that we wanted our checks, and after getting our checks, it took a while to close us out.The one Bartender left was busy making drinks for customers at the bar as well as the tables. They definitely needed at least two bartenders to improve the service.Otherwise than what was lacking in service, there was a great atmosphere (crowd, music, ambience), and we are hoping our next experience will be better, if and when we go back.Parking: We had to drive around a couple of times to find parking, otherwise we would have had to use the paid parking lot.

This place is a vibe,. A nice afterwork spot or a date night. This is a drink and small tapas style. This isn't a place for full meals like that. The Waiters and bartenders are very friendly making sure you are well. The drinks are highend and strong.

Oath 84: A Date Night Oasis in the BlizzardMy wife and I braved a snowstorm, two hours, and icy roads to celebrate her birthday at Oath 84, and it was worth every white-knuckled mile. Arriving past sunset, we snagged a prime spot out front – a tip: street parking fills fast after 6 PM, so reservations are your best bet (which we wisely had).Stepping inside was like entering a warm, dimly lit haven from the winter's fury. Gentle music and animated conversations hummed in the background, creating a lively yet intimate atmosphere perfect for a special dinner. Whether you're looking for cocktails and conversation or a romantic date night, Oath 84 hits the mark.We kicked things off with the jerk chicken egg rolls – a flavor explosion that had our taste buds doing the tango. My wife went for the lamb chops and lobster mac and cheese, a luxurious duo that left her absolutely swooning. The mac and cheese was a decadent masterpiece, and the lamb chops were cooked to melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Now, I'm a crab cake connoisseur, and while Oath 84's version was delicious, I was surprised by the filler. It was tasty, but I craved a more crab-centric experience. As for the cocktails, they were like little liquid works of art. Our server, a delightful font of drink knowledge, guided us through the creative menu, and each sip was a revelation. If you're looking for a cozy, delicious, and utterly romantic escape from the ordinary, Oath 84 is your answer. Just remember, reservations are your friend, and be prepared for a flavor adventure that will leave you wanting more. We'll definitely be back (hopefully without the blizzard next time) to explore more of their menu and soak up that warm, inviting atmosphere.Final Verdict: Oath 84 = Date Night Bliss (with a side of jerk chicken egg rolls, obvs).

Each time I have eaten at Oath 84 it does not disappoint. Zoe is an AMAZING server! She is patient, professional and knowledgeable and attentive. The food is OUTSTANDING! I old ear the lamb chops and garlic mashed potatoes every day!..lol...Drinks were delicious. I only have one small critique. The strawberry basil Rose' drink should be served in a regular wine glass instead of a champagne glass (like what a mimosa is served in) especially for $15.Vegetarian options: There are some items

We have a new spot. Very chic and hip. Yet, oh so cool and laid back. The service was on point and polite. We enjoyed our food. The mix of people were young and mature, everyone was pleasant. There seem to be an after-work crowd also.I can't say enough. Please check them. You won't be disappointed.

The food is amazing. I’m a picky eater and I couldn’t believe how much I ate. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection, mashed potatoes excellent, Brussels sprouts so flavorful. The buffalo chicken dip and jerk egg rolls are mouth watering. The owner Jess and his staff made us feel welcomed, comforted like home. You won’t be disappointed. Please do yourself a favor and make reservations or do take out. Love this place, my new Friday night spot

The food was good especially the corn. Not a lot of choices for a pescatarian but the crab cakes were pretty good. Not a lot of staff so we waited for everything! Overall I'd recommend

So I have mixed feelings about this place... Let me start off by saying the food and the atmosphere was great! The staff was friendly but there were a few issues that prevented me from giving them a higher score for their service. First off, when making reservations we were told there was no need to make the reservations, we're good just walking in. When we got there, we waited for 45 mins before we were seated. Ok maybe that's a good sign that they're a nice restaurant but that was our reason for trying to reserve seating, ahead of time. When we ordered our drinks, after finally being seated, our drinks were forgotten and we ate our meals with water as our drinks. (Really good water btw). No big deal, right? Well, then they forgot to replenish the water till the back end of the meal. It was at that point the waitress realized our glasses were empty and it was then I told the waitress, we didn't get the drinks we ordered. All in all, we made the best out of our time there. The atmosphere was great, the food was awesome, the staff was friendly and the issues can easily be sorted out on the next visit. Side note, I'm yet to find a bartender who can make a sidecar as well as my sister's.
