Great place for delivery or takeout. I don't think they offer dine-in as it is pretty small inside (hence the rating for atmosphere, nothing wrong i just don't think that's what they're going for). Food is good, great prices, fast service.

I recently dined at Omakai and was blown away by the sushi offerings and the exceptional service provided by our server Sierra. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. Our server was not only knowledgeable about the menu but also went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was top-notch. The sushi was fresh, and truly a delight for the taste buds. The attentive service elevated the entire meal, making it a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend Omakai Sushi Grill for anyone looking for delicious sushi and outstanding service.PS- On a side note: I recommend the Salmon Belly and thank me later :)

Delicious, well-made, and affordable sushi delivered on-time and perfectly packaged! Look at that fresh/full salad delicious hot miso soup.. extra chop sticks, and napkins provided! And only $3 delivery! I recommend having some seracha handy and brewing your own hot tea before your delivery arrives. Maybe even inviting over a lady friend. Oh yeah ??

The food here is great. The sushi is awesome, probably the best we’ve had in Wilmington. Hibatchi is good.But: if you’re ordering take out or delivery, add at least 30 min or an hour, respectively, from the time they tell you. We’ve waited TWO HOURS for delivery, and regularly wait at the restaurant for at least half an hour after it’s supposed to be ready. There’s basically one dine-in table, so take out is their main business and it’d be great if they were better at it.

Great food at great prices, there was a ton of selection but I wound up getting one of their Bento boxes and was really surprised by how good it was. The service was great and you can watch them prepare your food. The interior of the place is a bit plain but it works.
My favorite sushi place recently closed and I've been searching for a new one. I doordashed sushi from here last night and it was the best sushi I've had in months. So fresh & amazing flavor. Reasonably priced too! I cannot wait to order again.

Made me wait over an hour while they served white folks first, was completely disgusted and with no apology. It’s 2023 and even though I am using the same money I’m being treated secondary to the white folks who ordered after me… if your black order over the phone or not at all..
