Went for lunch on a Thursday, with a friend, it wasn't crowded, hardly anyone there maybe 10 people. The atmosphere was casual and funky mexican "inspired". We Ordered the fish tacos, $16.95, the waitress brought out a big bowl of nachos, which were good, and salsa - which was like WATER. Terrible. Took a long time to get our food. Finally they came out and while they were tasty, they were small anot much content. a small piece of fish, some shredded purple cabbage, a drop of sauce. thats it. They came with a side of black beams & mexican rice, those were good fortunately. Overall bill was $37 for lunch- a bit pricey for mediocre food & slow service.

Since no one wanted to respond to my email, I chose to leave a review. I don't usually review about my dining experience since I am a waitress myself, but my children, my friend (whom is a chef at the beach) and his child and myself came here for lunch. The atmosphere was fun and the kids were happy with sitting by the large windows. We ordered drinks and the kids food as soon as we could and the drinks were awful, there is no other way I could describe these drinks so sweet and warm...strange for a margarita. I had said to our waitress that it was so sweet and hot and she said "ok but you're good?" In which I responded I would rather have a coke. She brought us cokes and then dropped our kids food off, the burgers were so burnt that they couldn't bite into it. I mean I understand well done but to be burnt like that is unacceptable and I have no clue how that made it past your expo team. When our food came out, it was tasteless, the tortillas looked like they had maybe walked by a stovetop and were hard and cold. The manager had spoken to us and said that he would get the kids something else I suggested just one quesadilla since we had loaded them up on rice and beans, he said no problem and was apologetic. He also stated he would bring dessert (not needed but it never came), as well as taking care of the burgers and quesadilla. We left our meals, uneaten and on the table and got our bill in which the drink was still on it. Of course we paid and then left. The large party gratuity was also mischaracterized, it was two adults and four children under the age of five, hardly a party at all. I'm just curious as to why your passing off this flavorless food as Mexican?

This is my second time at this particular restaurant. It's located on the Delaware Riverfront, so when weather is good, you can walk before or after you dine. The service was super and the ambience is very nice. I enjoyed the drinks and appetizer and complimentary chips and salsa. I ordered the southwest chicken salad with chicken and shrimp and it was absolutely delicious. I was so full, however could not stop eating it. It's nice to meet up with friends here and great location with free parking.

It was a slow lunch rush, yet service was minimal. Took a while to get our drinks and we were left with empty cups for a while. The food was good, american/mexican type of cuisine. However, it was very tasty and worth the wait. I would certainly return to eat

Vegetarian options: Wide variety of items to choose from that are vegetarian. You can choose from a quesadilla, burrito, fajita and two types of tacos, brusssel sprout & cauliflower. Salads and guacamole were also availableDietary restrictions: Very accommodating to allergies and dietary restrictions, also took it very serious and let me know they would alert the kitchen and chef. Let me know what was available for me and was able to adjust menu items to accommodate.

Taco grande is a really fun experience. We went the night before a big holiday. The decor, music, and atmosphere all come together to make this dining experience fun and enjoyable. On top of this, our waitress was extremely patient, kind, and helpful.A few cons, mainly our food and salsa were bland. We had do ask for salt to make it tasty. Once we did, everything was great! Maybe they just were trying to help out our cholesterol. Also, when we called to see if they would be open for the holiday, they said they would be closing soon and not to come. When we drove by to go to a nearby restaurant we decided to check and see if it was still open. To our surprise it was. This was disappointing and most likely on the host/hostess but very unprofessional.Would I come back? Not sure, but in the moment I had a great time.

Took the kids for dinner, food tastes fresh. The waiters were patient and kind. The menu seemed pretty affordable. We loved their rendition of Mexican street corn. My only downside was the music was too loud.

Omg ewwwww don't get ice, it taste awful and the fountain drinks don't taste any better. I probably won't come here again until someone says they cleaned all the hoses and fountain drink machine.
