I think they are clearly the best Jamaican food in the area. I've ordered mainly the jerk chicken and the brown stew. The jerk pork is also good. The heat level on the jerk chicken seems to vary a lot from mild to nice and hot but it's always good. The brown stew is consistently excellent. The rice and cabbage are very flavorful and you can get extra gravy over them. My only complaint is that even if you've called in an order; you can get there 30 minutes later and they still don't have it ready to go. The line can be long at lunch time. They are worth the drive. It would be nice if they would check to see if the people with the called in orders (which are ready) are waiting in a long line.Parking: They have a small parking lot off the side street and around back.

Thursdays I usually get Jamaican food. Today I went to The Mayne Dish out in Elsmere. I got oxtail (they only have one size a small which is 23$) I also got the curry goat (large which is 18$)I am fat but not eat two trays of Jamaican fat so I took a couple bites of the curry goat which was tender, flavorful and really good. My one complaint for this is…yup you guessed it…it’s fairly salty…had to take a potassium well 2 potassium pills. 8.3/10Oxtail- they put several pieces of oxtail in this and for a small the most I’ve ever gotten in an oxtail platter. Of all those pieces only 2 weren’t fall of the bone tender. I seem to remember a different flavor on the oxtail and gravy before but it was a good sweet gravy which I assume they also use on their stewed chicken I would have liked there to be some spice on them but it was still really good. 8.0/10 for the oxtail. The rice and beans was also fluffy and cooked well (no old rice or hard rice grains or beans)Overall 8.1/10 for the whole meal…wish it wasn’t so far but still really good check it out if you like Jamaican

Wonderful food prepared fresh by the owners every day. Owners and staff are very welcoming and treat you like family. Cozy atmosphere features a beautiful fish tank and Jamaican theme throughout. Best Jamaican Beef Patties in Delaware.Parking: Watch out for the telephone pole when backing out of the parking lot.

Everything was A1, from the taste, portion size, price, and customer service ??Got a couple platters to go and all our food was packed up correctly & with care . My platter was a small Curry chicken with cabbage and baked Mac&cheese (which tasted much better than I expected), plus a side of plantains. All of my meal was good, only critique is I wish the cabbage was cooked for longer cause it was still kinda firm. Also I found it funny that they put my curry chicken on top of the baked Mac as if it was rice lol , I didn’t mind tho cause both was delicious ? Will definitely be visiting again.

D & H was ok! It’s the only Jamaican restaurant with bar and dining. Their surround sound needs work. This place Mayne Dish is now my spot. Food is so delicious and fresh. Well price menu.

The menu was outdated. They did not compensate for the price that was online. The menu was old after telling you it was old. The food was uneditable due to high spice levels. This will be my first and last time going there. I will not recommend this place.
