Had a delightful experience at The Melting Pot (1601 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE) for our Anniversary. Our first time here and hours of eating I was stufffffed!! Our server, Alora, was amazing and made our night special! I would love to have her as our server again!!The food was delicious too! There is a bit of a wait period inbetween each meal. Which, I didn’t mind because we were having adult beverages, talking and enjoying the experience. It didn’t feel rushed like some buffet style establishments. I see a lot of people saying it’s overpriced for the amount of food but I feel like I got more food than going to a normal restaurant with “fancy small plate “ meals. I could barely eat by the time I got dessert.I highly recommend doing this if you have a special event! Everything including the bathrooms were clean.

I am so impressed! We literally just left the place. I will say this is my new favorite restaurant Because of the amount of food and choices offered. I loved how they had so many cheese, sauce, and chocolate options to dip in. Loved how they made and mixed the fondue for u in front of u.All of the 4 courses were perfect from the Bread, veg, fruit, and meat selections given..The mushroom, zucchini and asparagus is the perfect veg medley ever. It did take about 2 hours cuz ur literally stewing, frying, or grilling ur own food, which was no issue for me just a heads up. I loved how the humble manager came around asked how we were, took empty plates and filled up drinksOnly suggestion is if they had a larger cooktop and/or larger grill skillet they could have faster turnaround time which would be beneficial for the waiters also Even each person having their own grill skillet would be faster and more efficient. I pretty much had to wait for my husband to cook all of his food on the small grill skillet before I could start cooking most of my food, which wasn't an issue for me, yet he was done eating way before me. They are renovating so maybe they will implement bigger stove and/or skillet for quicker serviceNo complaints tho!!! I can't wait to come back for "Thursdate" in Delawares beautiful historical building. It's genius by the way for offering roses, candles, and gifts for the table as a great surprise for ur date!

Absolutely terrible. We went at 4pm when they first opened for the day. The place was dirty like the floors were filthy. We were supposed to have the booth preset for our anniversary which didnt happen, nor did we get our picture and frame. The food is waaaaaay overpriced for the experience you get. Our server seemed very rushed to get everything done in a short time. We do not recommend going here for a romantic evening at all.

I recently dined at The Melting Pot and unfortunately had an incredibly disappointing experience. Our waiter, Dylan, provided subpar service throughout the evening. Not only did we wait for extended periods to receive our drinks, but when we brought our concerns to the manager, they failed to adequately address or compensate for the situation. As a loyal customer who frequents The Melting Pot once a month, I have never encountered such poor service. It's truly disheartening to see such a decline in quality.

Priced high quality of good not so good. Waitress dropped and broke a glass very close by, then another dropped a plastic kids cup with water in it and it got on us and landed on our table wet. Our waitress didn't check in enough with us either.

It was very nice. I do think there should be options to season some meats as they to the teriyaki steak. Other than that it was great. Table setup was beautiful (though with setup added could have been more secluded) with rose petals and a vase (with roses) you could even take with you. Alyssa our server was AMAZING! Would recommend her to any and everyone!
I love the melting pot! My partner and I were able to get a 8:45 reservation, which I admit is late. However our server was so kind and patient with us, even though I could just tell she was tired. Big thank you to her! And food was amazing as always.

My boyfriend and I travelled from Maryland to this location to celebrate Valentines Day and have a nice weekend away- dinner was great and our service was impeccable! A great experience!!
Being 90s kids, we thought Melting Pot seemed like a sort of funny choice for a belated Valentine's Day dinner. It was really quite good, though the kitch of having to cook much of the meal bits was less entertaining than I thought it would be. But still, the food was all wonderfully prepared. Special shoutout to Victoria, our amazing server. She really made the whole thing an enjoyable experience for us.
