if I could give this place zero stars, I would. I didn’t even get a chance to experience the food or drinks because my friend and I were blatantly ignored by the elderly male bartender. We sat the bar for about ten minutes and got ZERO acknowledgment. There were a few others sitting there but the bar wasn’t packed at all (it’s a Monday early evening). The elderly man could’ve simply acknowledged us with a “how are you all doing? I’ll be with you in one moment” while he was attending to others. He never even made eye contact, said hello, nothing. Then after fake attending to one or two others at the bar, he walked to the back, not having said one word to us. My friend and I immediately left . It’s disappointing because I’ve wanted to try this place for a while, but that interaction has unfortunately left a horrible impression. I would hate to think that race mattered in this instance but I definitely wouldn’t be surprised if it was a contributing factor to why we experienced what we did.

Coming from Los Angeles, this is the best steakhouse I’ve eaten in Germany, and I have been here a decade, they have the creamy horseradish sauce to go with your steaks and the sizzling hot plates, the food was on point, don’t miss if you’re in the area of Cologne! Really good quality and service.

The drinks were good. The food was average. I got the flounder and Gortons and Mrs. Paul's frozen was just as good. The atmosphere was nice and so was our waitress.
