Tried VM for the first time with friends on a saturday for dinner. Had high expectations based on the reviews, but I'm afraid the food fell far short of expectations.We ordered a meatball plate to share (3 people) and the meatball was flavorless, very dense, and overall "edible" but not something you'd seek out again. Almost like they aren't cooked in sauce but just coated for plating? However the red sauce was tasty.I had a pork plate. The sauce was VERY watery and the pork overcooked.My friend had a clam plate and didn't finish it, also indicating the sauce was very watery.Other friend indicated there's was better than ours, sauce had better flavor and was thicker but overall was just ok.We opted not to stay for dessert, as we'd already agreed, likely not going to try VM again. Waiter asked us if it was good, I replied with a smile and indicated, I think we were just hungry, as we did eat the majority of our meals (edible, but not enjoyable)That said, if you want nice decor, friendly service, a few drinks and something served in a red sauce, it might work for you.Hopefully just an "off" kitchen night overall, but given it was $100+ for 3 meals, 1 app, a beer, 1 drink, I will opt to try other places.

The best pizza, the crust is thin and crispy, and holds the delicious toppings without getting soggy. I highly recommend this bistro. Also they have a good selection liquor, including hard to find liqueurs.

First time going there tonight. Food was amazing. I had the chicken parm and my wife had shrimp linguini. Both meals were very good. Chicken parm was recommended by the waitress and did not disappoint. Huge portion and great taste. Shrimp linguini was great also. Their Limoncello Martini is my new favorite drink. Everything is made from scratch. Service was also great. Recommended meals based on taste and not price which was appreciated. Waitress was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable of the menu. we will definitely be going back we are already planning our next visit. I recommend anyone looking for good Italian food to try this place

We've dined in here before and really enjoyed it, so we decided to get takeout pizza. We normally order from Sitaly across the street. We ordered the St. Anthony and the flavor was great but the center was very soggy. I feel like it needed to be left in the oven for two more minutes. It was busy and maybe the pizza maker was in a hurry. We will try here again the next time we order pizza, and hope they have figured out the sogginess issue. We really like V and M and would like to make it "our pizza place", but they need to not make soggy pizza.

The menu offerings were great, with a range of delicious options to choose from. The food itself exceeded all expectations, with each dish prepared to perfection. However, what truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our celebration was memorable. I cannot thank them enough for their warm hospitality and accommodating nature. V & M Bistro truly deserves all the praise for their outstanding food and top-notch service. Highly recommend this place. Four of us had a great dining experience. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The service is friendly and attentive. The food is amazing. The garlic knots are the best. The calamari appetizer was fresh and delicious. The timbala, chicken Marsala and veal picante were all very good , but the pork Fiorentine was outstanding. They offer a very interesting drink menu of specialty cocktails and a good selection of wine both by the glass and bottle. Must-try Tiramisu.
