Where I go to fulfill my spice cravings. Their liangfen (spicy cold mung bean jelly noodles) gives me life. Cocktails are affordable and tasty (not fancy). The interior is spacious but can be too quiet/boring.

Biggest Chicken Wings I’ve seen in life. No exaggeration. I asked for chicken wings and rice combo and was told i had to get a large rice which i said okay cool. That was trash. Egg rolls tasted old. Poor customer service, when asking for condiments he cut me off and told me he had everything in there which he didn’t. Of course i didn’t notice anything until i left. Had to go out and grab something totally different.

So confused by negative reviews of the food. Have these people eaten at any other “Chinese” places in the area? We have been coming almost weekly since we first tried Yi Palace a couple years ago. The food is far more authentic and well done than any place in a 45 min radius. Standouts include the fish fillet with dry hot pepper, crispy orange beef, beef with scallion, kung pao chicken or shrimp, and shrimp with honey walnut. The soups are also all incredible. Dining in may not be the fanciest dining experience, but the service is gracious and the food is even more delicious straight out of the kitchen.

The service is fast and the food is always good. It can be counted on to provide consistent quality dishes.

Food is hit n miss. We've had a few things here. Ok for Delaware for sure, but typical of Asian places in Delaware, the restaurant menu tries its hand at every type of Asian good from Thai to Szechuan, Japanese and who knows what else.

4 of use went there this week. One from China, one from Nepal, one from India, and one 10 generation American.. the food was spectacular. Every dish spiced boldly and unapologetic, chicken and pork cooked to perfection. No toughness like you get in over cooked meats..tofu (vegetarian) was tasty.. they all liked it.. we really enjoyed ourselves… we’ll be going back when I’m in town again.

Great restaurant for authentic Chinese cuisine. Not a takeout spot - dine in and enjoy a nice meal with large portions, good quality and authentic flavor

Wonton soup was very disappointing! The House Fried Rice was below average - not very flavorful. Ribs were very good but pricey - 4 bones for $9

Don't come here and order the inauthentic dishes. Those with bad reviews aren't ordering the right things. The authentic dishes are very tasty, and the high spice level should be expected. No complaints about this place. 10/10 would come again.

Yi Palace prepares the best Asian/ Chinese food in the area. I eat dinner there as often as bi-weekly. Mr. Lee, the owner, is very welcoming and is always willing to accommodate special requests. The bar selection is somewhat limited, but a generous pour in the cocktails. The variety of dishes makes Yi Palace outstanding. My favorite dish is the mayonnaise shrimp, but best eaten immediately, vs. Take out. It looses some of the crispness.

Not what I expected. I ordered a spicy chicken dish - what I was served was B L A N D. Hot snd sour soup was hot (heat-wise) but nothing more.

I love this place, it's a hidden gem. lots of vegetarian options, and traditional non Americanized Chinese options. Every time i go here I always have a great experience.

myself and 3 other people came here for a last minute dinner but not our first choice. First I thought it was closed because there didn't seems to be cars in the parking lot and the inside was dark. we got sat quickly because we were the only people in the restaurant. I have no issue with the service but my god my food was worse than buffet food. my self and another person order the sesame chicken and we both had a hard time eating it. I have strong healthy teeth and there is no way I should've had an issue chewing the chicken, maybe it was freezer burned IDK, but i expect better quality. I would've been happier getting grand east buffet down the street. Secondly they charge for every little thing. Like I couldn't swap rice for lo mein. which you normally can in a take out place. I couldn't get pork friend rice instead of plain rice. Then I wanted them to make half the chicken with orange sauce and half sesame but they couldn't accommodate that request either. If I was the owner and we were your only table for 2 hours during a dinner rush it would be wise to please the 1 group of customers you do have.

Have been here many times for lunch and dinner. I worry sometimes with places that have large menus that the quality of the dishes suffer, but this is not the case here; I have enjoyed every dish I've gotten and have never second guessed recommending or bringing people here. Everyone I bring enjoys the food. The ingredients are always fresh the food is always hot and delicious and the portions are huge. They do a great job with both authentic and American- chinese dishes. Service is fast and attentive. One of the few places you can find real hot mustard and good pad thai. Felt compelled to write a review because this place is so good I want it to prosper and stay open for as long as I'm around.

I ordered the Tom Yum soup and it was not very flavorful or spicy and while I was eating it, I noticed that it had chicken in it. I do not eat chicken and had to throw it away. I also got the cold spicy noodles and they were just ok. There are many other locations on concord pike to get better Tom Yum and spicy noodles.
