Wonderful dining experience! There’s a nostalgic feel to the place. The atmosphere reminds one of great local, sole proprietor restaurants from long ago.Living in Gainesville for a year now, we’ve been looking for the best locally owned place to eat - We found this restaurant with it’s friendly service, amazing food and clean surroundings, to be our favorite.?

Food was cooked, and that was it. No flavor at all. Very disappointing and will not be back. Only gets one star because of the waitress who tried everything to make our visit better.

Worst food ever. I got a turkey bacon ranch sandwich and it tasted bologna.?? My husband got lasagna and it was flavorless. Even my drink my flat.Owner was rude. Our waitress was really sweet but we'll never go back.

We have dined here before and was good. Tonight went in at ~6pm and the place was empty. Wondered what was going on last visit it was very full. We ordered, wife added extra peas, and I requested meat sauce inplace of marinara. I was told there would be a small upcharge. I didn't ask how much. Well here is the bill. 2 bucks for an extra 2 table spoons of peas, and meat sauce that frankly wasn't even visible on my manicotti. Manicotti was large but was flavorless, straight up ricotta cheese inside with no seasoning. Sorry to say, we won't be back. I understand the prices of everything is up, but $5.82 for 2 tablespoons of meat sauce and 2.00 for 2 tablespoons of peas? It used to be good and now I know why it was empty at 6pm. Waitress was excellent, but if the upcharge is almost half the meal price people might want to know. I wished I had taken a pic of the meal once I received the bill.

Wow!! Was not expecting much from this small local place but it is clearly a hidden gem. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and some of the best Italian food I have had in years!! Great variety on the menu and lots of interesting and authentic dishes bursting with flavor. Will definitely be back. My only suggestion to the restaurant would be consider adding a gluten free pasta as an option with your entrees.

The place smells bad and the food was horrible left most of it on the table had a a small pizza, an Italian sandwich, and pasta. The pasta was at least edible. Don’t waste you money at this dump.

This was the best pizza I have had in awhile. It was our first time. It was so good that a couple of days later, we got it to go. It was as good as the first time. This is our new pizza place for now.Strawberry cheesecake was awesome, too.

Have eaten here several times, this experience was very disappointing. Staffed by teenagers unable to correct service errors.

1 small pie and 1 large pie, ravioli, glass of wine and a coke. Reasonable food but large pie was “WET” on bottom. Attempt to crisp it total failure. When boxed it became a ball of pizza. Cost with tip $90.00 ( No I do not understand). Have been there many times in the past. High School age people should not run food establishments, work yes. My error, I won’t make it again. We've been here before and loved this place, but it let us down this last time. We had stuffed shells and lasagna. The taste was underwhelming and the dishes only came with one small garlic roll which was not warmed and had no garlic on them. The walls and doors are very dingy and the floor tile llooked very dirty. A/C was leaking/dripping with no bucket underneath in the middle of the dining room. The table was a bit sticky. Service was lackluster. All we wanted to do is finish eating and leave. Sadly, don't think we'll be going back.
