The change to the shrimp and grits is awful. Before you had grit cakes in a bowl of great shrimp sauce now it's just a sprinkle of the sauce over a bowl of watery grits !!! The wife liked the shepherds pie is the reason I even gave it three stars.

Classic American diner with superior fare for both the stomach and the soul. I had the breakfast burger, which was outstanding. I did not wait long at all to be seated, and the staff was friendly. Our food came to us very quickly and was cooked the way we asked. In all, this is not a place to be missed and if you have the chance to stop and eat here I would do so. I went on a whim and now I can't go to breakfast anywhere else.Kid-friendliness: They have a great menu for kids that features all the right things for even the pickiest of eaters.
