I'm from Canada & the last time I was there was Dec. 2001 - 22 yrs ago! I googled Uncle Jones' BBQ & I was amazed to see that he is still alive & still making that delicious food. At that time, he had a modest, wooden, sit-down buffet, patronized by white shirts & ties among others, with the bbq out back. I recall that it was on a grassy area with open fields around it. I don't know what made me think if it today - maybe all the snow we're finally getting & wishing I were down there. Wonderful memories.

I remember when he was smoking BBQ out of his little truck on the side of the road and it was good then and I continued to eat there when he moved and still he rocked it and I’m now living in NC and was wondering if he was still making great BBQ and I was delighted to hear he is and can’t wait to go back and have some great Uncle Jones’s BBQ again‼️? I remember eating his food since I was a child and few places make it as long as he has and I will always support his legacy he worked his butt off‼️? We love u Uncle Jones thank y’all for the great meals and all the great years of awesome food u serve us and continue to serve us‼️? If u have not tried it u are surely missing out on some damn good BBQ and soul food‼️?

I ordered the chicken sandwich and the meat was so tender and juicy. My husband ordered a lb of pulled pork and that was really delicious! This place deserves more love

Best BBQ north of Orlando. I've been eating at Uncle Jones since high school in the 90s. A Real local gem!!

Purchased 1 ln of Brisket and 1 half chicken. Brisket was $20. Lb, and have a chicken was $12.50. Very tasty indeed! Plan on going back in another week.

I tried this place for the first, and last time on 8/20. The trailer is infested with flies and the gentleman working the stand doesn’t wear any gloves, even though there is a deteriorated and stained box of gloves by the order window. The food itself was over cooked and terribly seasoned, it also smelled a bit off. The real tragedy happened about 3 hours after eating the bbq from here. I contracted the worst food poisoning I’ve had and have been suffering the last 3 days. This place used to be one of the best in Orlando, it’s a shame that it won’t be remembered that way.

Terrible BBQ and super over priced. I got a half rack of ribs for $20 and barley half of a chicken for $10.50. The ribs were very fatty and salty. Will not return and don't recommend.

Good tasting BBQ for sure. Fantastic okra. Our ribs were great, no complaints! Uncle Jones himself is also polite and quiet, if a bit too old for this. Unfortunately his stand / spot is very rough around the edges. Understandably, it puts a lot of people off. Very loud generator in an open truck which makes it louder, dirty, unkept trailer, no comfortable place to wait, so you sweat in the sun while slowly gets your food together. Our food was great, but I can believe that some people have a bad experience. It's actually on the side if the road in the grass of a property that seems to be a junkyard :/ This situation seems to be on its last leg. COVID was probably hard on him too. Prices are not cheap, especially given the rough circumstances. I bet Uncle Jones used to be a smoother setup, but now it's barely functioning and maybe not covering it's costs anymore. I think he should call it quits... if he can afford to do so.

Brisket was delicious, ribs were overcooked. Place had so many flies that we almost walked away. Threw away the sides because they looked disgusting. Seems like this place is barely hanging on. Sorry to not be able to recommend Uncle Jones anymore.

I had food poisoning here. Thank goodness I didn’t give it to my kids. Chicken was spoiled. Beware

I didn’t want to give one star but was the only way I could give a review. My husband and I opened the food to eat and the smell was just awful. The sides and the meat smelled rotten. I hope they can pull it together because if they don’t someone will get very ill from eating rotten meat.
