We thoroughly enjoyed our night. Our service was great. Sat in wine bar and enjoyed piano player. Everything we ordered was really good! I would offer more red wines by the glass. I would have a few more entrees available for pm dining. Other than that, it was a hit!
My wife and I had a really nice dinner at the Owl Cafe. Super nice restaurant, awesome service by Samantha and great drinks and food. We had the crab claws, fresh catch of the day and key lime pie. We will definitely eat here next time we are in Apalachicola.

My wife had a really delightful Sunday brunch at the Owl yesterday, on our way home to Gainesville from west Florida. Everything about the experience - food, ambience and especially service (thank you Desiree!) - was absolutely top-drawer. Can't wait to return.

Our dinner was delicious. I had the best shrimp and grits ever. My husband had red fish which was fish of the day. It too was wonderful. We had the crab appetizer which was good but not wonderful. Will try different appetizer next time. Will definitely return when we are back in Apalachicola.

Our server was absolutely amazing. The gumbo was THE BEST!!! Great flavor, lots of meat and seasoned well. The duck confit fries were not worth the $18 though. Fries were soggy sysco fries. For that prices I at least expected hand cut fries that were crispy. All in all still a 5 star experience. wlWe would go back and try other dishes. Our sever recommend the shrimp and grits but we were full fries and gumbo.

We had a few drinks at the Owl Tavern, and the bartender there makes a MEAN old fashioned. Good bourbon selection. The fried crab claws were pretty tasty!
We had a delicious dinner at the Owl. At first, we were a little surprised by the way our server was dressed—an outfit topped off with a trucker cap worn backwards. Within minutes, he had charmed and impressed us with his attentive and efficient service. We'll hope to have him as our server whenever we come in. The fish of the day (red drum) was beautifully prepared and presented. All the other meals were tasty, too. The Owl is back! So glad to be able to count it as one of top choices for dining out.

Sitting upstairs...views of the water..service was prompt ,efficient and oh so friendly...started off with the confit duck fries. Wow...and portions beyond generous...we then had the special rack of lamb and shrimp and grits..again...taste was good and portions so good we took home....we will be back!
