This is my third time ordering from this China Star in Apollo Beach. Best chinese food I've had in over 20+ years. I've tried the shrimp egg foo young, shrimp fried rice, steamed shrimp with broccoli, shrimp egg rolls and the general tso's chicken. I absolutely loved each one of them. They give you a lot of food and the egg rolls are a good size and they are a lot cheaper than their competitors. And for those who are like my mother and only eat deveined shrimp then this is definitely your place. This is and will be my go to place for chinese food.

We ordered lunch yesterday and it was actually ready a few minutes ahead of scheduled pick-up time. Everything was delicious and I even have enough leftover for my lunch today. The shrimp with lobster sauce was perfect. Originally from NYC so I think I know a little bit about Chinese food. Thank you for doing such a great job.

First time ordering from here. We got lo mein noodles that seemed overcooked. The sesame chicken had A LOT of pieces of fat! Disappointed to say the least.

My family was not satisfied with the quality of this food. I got Shrimp Mei Fun and the noodles were mushy, the wings we got taste like they were cooked in shrimp grease.I only ordered from here because our normal spot was closed. I’ll pass next time.

This place is horrible to say the least! I’m not sure if they just had a bad night or what. I ordered a large shrimp fried rice and it had exactly 6 shrimp! I’ll say it again for the people in the back, “6”! Shrimp! I won’t even try to describe the fried chicken wings. This is my 3rd and last time that I’ll be visiting.

The food is absolutely always delicious. They always prepared in time and it's not even that bad of a price . I only ever pay 20$ for two meals and this is the best Chinese food I've had in a while. My go to place .

This restaurant changed to New China Star. It is absolutely AWFUL. It was very good before, but now it's really, really awful Ordered General Tso's Chicken, Fried Dumplings,Won Ton Soup, egg roll, spring rolls and House Special Lo Mein. The spring rolls, egg rolls were okay. But I don't know what the Chicken was but IT was Not General Tso's! The dumplings?? Gross. I'm not sure about the soup. I am afraid to try it. Spent $38 just to throw the chicken and dumplings in the trash can. I will NEVER eat there again!

New owners have done a great job on my first visit in almost a year! The food was better then anything in apollo beach so far. Tasty, plentiful and the garlic shrimp were very good size and were succulent! Egg roll so so. Still can't find traditional fried rice except in Bloomingdale. I will not have to drive so far for now. Personally, I thought the old owners were mediocre. I'm impressed and will return! It is just a strip center chinese restaurant but it works for me.
