“This was my first visit, and I usually judge a asian, restaurant by their egg foo yong, so I have to say that this was the most authentic egg foo yong I’ve been served, it was made without all the fillers that make you feel full (gluten free). I think I’ll try the chicken wing with pork fried rice tomorrow.“
“My family and I have eaten at Chung Xiang a few times, and we have always had good experiences. The food has always been fresh and delicious, the service is friendly and accurate, and the location is clean. We ordered the steamed dumplings, and krab Rangoon, a thai tea, a hunan beef, and a general tsao's combination. The dumplings had a wrapper that I think was too thick, but the filling was delicious, and the sauce pairs well with it. The krab Rangoon were crispy and fresh, just your typical krab Rangoon. It was the first time I tried their thai tea, but it was delicious, and I would definitely order it again. The hunan beef was spicy, and the variety of vegetables with it were yummy. The general tsaos chicken was crispy, had a decent amount of spicy, and was a very generous portion. The whole meal was scrumptious and was enough to have leftovers for the next day. We will definitely eat at this restaurant again. Rating from F to A+++, I give it an A+++.“
“This place is awesome. I’ve been getting food from here for almost a decade now. I’ve tried other spots and they don’t hit the same. I drive out of my way to Apopka to pick up food from here for my wife and I. So so good, LOVE the boneless spare ribs and egg rolls from here! Very friendly staff, love this place. Best Chinese food since I left New York!“
“I must say, this place is the closest to getting the same flavor and taste as the Chinese Restaurants in Chicago (I'm originally from Chicago). Other places in and around Apopka don't even come close. For example, they don't use frozen vegetables in their fried rice. At some places, the fried rice is kind of yellow in color...almost like a combo of Spanish rice and Chinese fried rice. Speaking of fired rice, the beef fried rice comes with a lot of meat. The beef egg foo young is tasty. The gravy is different but you can use the same gravy they use on the chicken broccoli, which is very similar to the gravy used in the egg foo young in Chicago. The staff is amazing as well. We never had any issues from that stand point. A great place all around.“
“I love this place. HOWEVER!!!!!!! Their opening time says 11:30 and I try to order for my 12pm work lunch break, often, and there have been times that I could not because they opened at the last minute (12pm or later) so I had to buy out somewhere else. Please open during your actual posted time so I can visit more often!!!“
“I don't know what it is about this restaurant but I really think it's somewhere that has good food and the atmosphere here is very inviting. The variety of food is great if you're hungry and really don't know what you want to eat. The prices for all you can eat and also takeout are very reasonable and right now I think everyone is tightening their belts and not spending like only a short time ago. If you want good food and a reasonably priced meal with the whole family then you don't need to go anywhere else except King Buffet in the Riverwalk plaza in Apopka“
“Picked up carry out for my son and I tonight. Kitchen was behind as they ran out of sauce. No big deal, we patiently waited and watched them make the sauces from scratch. Well worth the wait, some of the best Chinese food I’ve had. Highly recommend.“
