Unfortunately disappointed about the meat portion size of the orders. Feel like less and less general tso's chicken on my plate. Also as others have stated, I ordered the shrimp with broccoli for the first time, they literally only put 5 pieces of shrimp where other places put 7-8. Definitely not worth it for the exorbitant price. Finally, the BBQ spare Ribs are super dry for some reason. Cuttingcorners on quality and portion size while competitors are maintaining theirs is not the way to go.

Do not get tricked into thinking this is a good restaurant! These people do not take care of their many mistakes. There was metal shards in my food and my wife’s order was completely wrong. We tried to call but they were closed then the next day they wanted us to bring the food which was already thrown out back. We never asked for a refund so that was confusing but they got very defensive and rude as can be. I’ve been in service for decades and the way they handle theirs is just completely wrong to the customer.

My family and I have eaten at Chung Xiang a few times, and we have always had good experiences. The food has always been fresh and delicious, the service is friendly and accurate, and the location is clean. We ordered the steamed dumplings, and krab Rangoon, a thai tea, a hunan beef, and a general tsao's combination. The dumplings had a wrapper that I think was too thick, but the filling was delicious, and the sauce pairs well with it. The krab Rangoon were crispy and fresh, just your typical krab Rangoon. It was the first time I tried their thai tea, but it was delicious, and I would definitely order it again. The hunan beef was spicy, and the variety of vegetables with it were yummy. The general tsaos chicken was crispy, had a decent amount of spicy, and was a very generous portion. The whole meal was scrumptious and was enough to have leftovers for the next day. We will definitely eat at this restaurant again. Rating from F to A+++, I give it an A+++.

Staff is very friendly! Food is always hot and very fresh! Have tried many other similar restaurants around the Apopka area and will always choose Chung Xiang as my go to for Chinese food!! I do wish I could order through DoorDash for delivery that's the only negative as they are pick up only.
Reasonably priced, open on Mondays and food was very tasty. I recommend this place. Quick turn around as well.

Good customer service goes a long way.I walked into this restaurant to pick up an order and say hello immediately, the rude lady just looked at me and said nothing. No smile, no courtesy, just a mean look and tone. I asked how much for the Fanta soda, she said $1.50. If you knew you have more than one type of Fanta, you should ask me which one. If that created a confusion, don’t blame the customer like it’s his fault, apologize and say you didn’t realize I was referring to the bigger Fanta.9/5/23 2:35PM

I don’t eat Chinese food often but whenever I do, this is the go to….or at least it used to be. As infrequently as I eat here, today was the SECOND time I found hair in my food, after eating more than half of the dish. Are the cooks not wearing hairnets? Am I being ridiculous for thinking that they should? Whatever the case is, I will not return. Lunch has been ruined, yet again.
