Love the atmosphere and DJ. Had a wonderful Mojito..unlike any other! Skinny margarita was good, but lacked tequila. Ordered a Cuban sandwich. Had no dressing, mustard, etc. the meat was shredded pork and super dry. Plantains were average but black beans had great flavor. Bar seating was nice with opening to patio. Our group went in during a weekday (MLK Holiday) and had a wonderful experience. Empanadas were some of the best if not the best I have ever had. Most empanadas are dry and small. Theirs are very big and moist, full of flavor. I had the Palamino Steak sandwich and was please with it along with the tostones and maduros that came with it. There are few safe places to go dancing, and even less if they are purely Latino. As far as I know there are very few north of Orlando and this is the only one in Apopka. At Morenas these dilemmas are resolved without having to go far and in a familiar environment for most of the hours.
