I will never return there again. Food is great and i have been going there for over 25 yrs WH and now Aub but unfortunately they force you to pay 18% tip if you go there with 6 or more people regardless if they are separate checks or not. A tip is supposed to be the customers choice on how they get treated from the servers. It seems illegal to force someone to pay a tip of 18% on there bill. I will NEVER go back or family and friends. That will be over 75 people they have lost due to their bad attitude when I simply asked them why they force you to pay a tip. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE DO NOT GO THERE. VERY Dissapointed

Service from waitress was excellent. The food was horrible. The cook burnt everything. Recooked the food still burnt and no flavor. The cook scrapped all the burnt stuff off grill for mixed in the meat. Our bill was $422

Fun place and good food, but very loud. The last few times we've gone, more than one group of tables were screaming loudly. If you want a romantic evening or a more quiet place to wind down from the day, this is not the place to go, lol.

Service was quick for hibachi style. Taste was okay, quantity is a little less for the price.

Was recommended to go try Osaka. Very disappointed in the service, food and atmosphere. We sat down with a family of 5, cook came out said hi and never spoke again. All the food was put on the grill at the same time which caused cross contamination. He gave us the unseasoned rice and while he was cooking the man at the table asked about a show, cook said no show! The family got up and walked out . He finished cooking our food and still nothing had no taste and top it off no noodles unless you pay the extra . We were already at $20 a person for dinner. Would not recommend this place to anyone I know. No wonder the one in winter Haven closed up. First and last time going to this place. STAY AWAY.

Everything was beyond our expectations!! We moved here 9 years ago & outside of Lakeland we haven't found a sushi restaurant that lived up to our expectations! We have seen Osaka many times but ignored it. We were very impressed & happy we finally stopped! The raw Sushi was fresh & at a value! The California Roll Was the best I have ever had! The service & the owners attention to Things were excellent! Very comfortable decor. We will definitely go back ....in fact we will become regular customers!!

This was my first time going in over 2 years. To start they are using the same faded plastic bowls and plates. I figured I would still give them a try because I remembered how good the food was. Well I wasn't disappointed with the food. The only issues were the ginger salad dressing was a little watery. And the star of the show (yum yum sauce) had too much mayo in it. Even these things were still edible.I would just say Osaka, stop being so cheap and get new dishes. You might see your crowds pick up again.

When it comes to the hibachi, I prefer them to the others in the area. Other places all taste the same. Very bland in my opinion. I like my food to have flavor and I've rarely been disappointed here. Only 2 things I have to complain about is we went for lunch and I guess they don't have a sushi chef during lunch hours? and that they closed the Winter Haven location so we don't get to go as often now. Used to go 2-3 times a month, now I'm lucky to go twice in a year.

Holy cross contamination nightmare. This place is absolutely disgusting. The chef who doesn't speak at all literally throws everything on the grill at the same time.Vegetables touching raw chicken and then put on your plate. The health department seriously needs to come in here and see this disgusting place. The floor is sticky, the tables are sticky. Just look at the hanging light right at the front desk, an inch thick of dust on it.

Very basic hibachi. The only seasoning used was soy sauce. I asked for garlic and salt /pepper to be added to the fried rice and was told "we don't do that." My pre chopped medium rare filet was cooked through with no visible pink, and again nothing but soy sauce for flavor. Also, don't expect any finesse or show. No volcano, egg "roll" or choo Choo train dispite there being small children at the table. The best I can say is I didn't have to cook.
