Talk about an out of the way unexpected gem find! We were driving back home on US Highway 27 & got hungry! And we came upon this place, pulled over & to our delite had the opportunity to enjoy what seems to be a frequently visited joint by locals! The place is definitely NOT a michelin star restaurant but is cozy & welcoming environment makes up for it! Menu is simple, to me like diner food. Have gone several times and have not had any issues until tonight. Tonight just seemed like an off night for them, food(fries, chicken strips,fried mushrooms) was either extremely overcooked, or very old and seemed reheated. However, every other time we've gone, everything has been great, so I wont hold onto tonights unfortunate dining experience too long.Of everything we've tried, I personally make sure to order the fried mushrooms on every visit.
