This is officially my favorite 2023 discovery. It is a cute little coffee and lunch place. The food is served to the table, and I simply sit back and chat while eating a great cuban coffee with a guava and cream cheese pastry. No rush. Simply enjoy your company and the food. Good days.

I went in there sad as can be due to life happenings...they are the most kind hearted people ever. The owner-he is awesome, gave me a hug and everything..made my day better. Now for the food...it was AMAZING! It was rice and black beans with some meat. Idk what it was called but OMG it was freaking awesome. The portions are huge. This place is great! The coffee was the best Cuban coffee I've had yet... except for my daughter's grandmother of course.I scout out new coffee places to try btw.Don't pass this place up...worth the stop!!!!!

Cuban sandwich was good. Beef and ham croquettas were mostly filler. We love cuban food but we don't speak spanish. Luckily, the customer in line behind us translated for us.

Florida has a large Cuban population, and this is at least the 4th Cuban restaurant in my home of Highlands County. The name is a little misleading as they serve plenty of delicious food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Arriving- US Route 27 is the primary road down my way and these folks are in a small plaza on the southbound side. The plaza has a traffic light so getting in and parking is a snap. Ambience- Not much. It's a typical "Plaza Box" that over the years has seen many businesses. The owners call it Cafeteria Style. You order at a counter where there are menus on the wall. Your food is brought out to you, and you pay when you leave. There are a few booths and tables. Everything is spotless. Customer Service- A little rocky. It was slow when I was there, and I stood at the counter quite a while before I was served. Eventually, I was seen and the gentleman who took my order acted like the owner and was just fine. The young lady who brought my food to the table was fine and paying at the counter seemed disorganized. They need a little work here, but they are new, so I'll give them some time. Food- A good sized menu of Cuban staples but as I was a 1st timer, I went with a Cuban Sandwich, a side of fries and a can of soda for lunch. The tab was $13 and change. It was out in good time and plated nicely. The fires were hot and crispy shoestrings and just fine but, in the end, just fries. I think next time I'll go with a Cuban side. The sandwich was very heavy and on good Cuban bread. All the required layers were there with above average amounts of savory meats. This was a very substantial sandwich and too much for me for lunch. Split it with a friend! I was surprised that it was very lightly pressed! So lightly that the sandwich was quite cold in the center. If you look at my picture, you'll see no press marks on the bread. I hope this is a one-time mistake, but it was still an excellent, large, and tasty sandwich and a good value. So, a new restaurant and a little bit of a work in progress. I'll definitely be back to try dinner and some of their coffee. I'll also send some of my spy friends over to try more Cuban sandwiches. If you're gonna be a good Cuban restaurant, this sandwich needs to be spot on every time! I'll say three stars for now and definitely lots of potential!

Cuban sandwich taste perfection. Easily could be shared. Walk n and order. Pleasant experience, menu questions readily explained. Beware, all employees do not speak English, but are very helpful Restaurant located between Sav-A-Lot and Cricket Open 6-6. Cuban coffee, cuban food prepared as ordered. Dine in : tables and chairs with room between Take out available Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Looking forward yo trying no menu items Had "Midnight " sandwich- same as cuban but different bread. Great flavor, no additions needed. Variety of canned and bottled drinks available. Deserts too We will return just to try more of their menu choices It's not fancy, but certainly worth exploring Cuban/Latin food
