Amazing food, amazing service and amazing prices. The fried icecream is a must. The servers are incredibly friendly.

We lived in Texas for 3 years & had much good Tex-Mex food. This is a Terrible Tex-Mex restaurant and I would NEVER go back here. There is much better Tex-Mex food at Calaveras Cantina & and Ahtziri Mexican Grill in Boca.

Not good- trust me! Salsa is more than likely out of a can, so is the "queso", beans tasted like cardboard. Not good!!!

Our business is local & we enjoyed our visit today. Dakotah took care of our table & he made sure we had everything we needed. Food is excellent and we can not wait to see the new remodel of the place coming next year. Excited to have #breakfast #lunch #dinner so close to walk.

I used to absolutely love this place. My husband and I had our first date here 5 years ago so it’s been special to us. But they changed owners and the restaurant has suffered. Our portions are half the size. The chips came in a small red basket you see at carnivals which was like a quarter of the chips they usually give. They haven’t updated or cleaned up any of the walls or floors or structure. There was a table that was next to us that was dirty when we sat down, and it was still dirty when we left after dinner. There was no one else in the restaurant. It’s such a shame.

I have been frequenting this location for years. Sorry to say its continually gone down hill. The premises are run down and grungy, and the service has become almost unbearable. The current staff (under new owners?) are friendly, yet seem to have zero management above them giving orders or boosting moral. All recent drinks have been so watered down even after a few, I haven't felt the slightest buzz. Food has remained fairly decent but at this price point, I expect better service in a cleaner environment. I do everything I can to support local business but sad to say this establishment is very close to being on my "do not eat here" list. Its local and in a great location.... really wish one of the many different owners over the years would show some pride. Much work needs to be put into both the building and staff training to compete with Casa Maya and Senor Burrito.

Under new management. We've been going to Baja for years and it's been getting worse and worse lately. We keep saying it's the last time but now we're done. Service was just awful. I had to go to the bar/kitchen 2x to ask why our food wasn't served yet. We watched other tables come and go...still nothing. I could go on and on. Just don't go.

Cute place tucked away next to the railroad located in Boca. The decoration screamed mom and pop shop so i was eager to eat . Drink: ultimate margarita: 3/5 it was watered down Food: rattlesnake burrito: 5/5 i substituted the ground beef for pulled chicken and it was perfect. The flavors all complement each other I had a side of guacamole and it was one of the best burritos I've had in a while. It also is a decent size portion so it's definitely filled off of the burrito as well as the chips and two sorts of salsa that they served Service : The service was fairly decent and the waiter/bartender was really nice. I forgot his name I will be back for sure

Consumer Beware!I got my bill today and it was $145. 4 out of the 5 meals we ordered was the 2 tacos meal so I thought $145 cant be right.Of course when I go to look at the itemized receipt, there was not one giving to me. (Im pretty sure they purposely did this). Why do I think this, because when I asked for the itemized receipt they had the tip already included. You can see below, the receipt to the left is all they gave me.Most people would simply put a tip in and leave. If it wasn’t for the price being so high I would of never asked for one and did the same thing. Then when you ask for an itemized receipt, they try to trick you again; the suggested tip amounts at the bottom of the receipt (you can see below on the right) is based on the amount $145.43 which already has an 18% tip included.I work in the payment processing space and this is just wrong on all levels. I suggest you change your shady business tactics before you loose more customers.I almost left an additional $30 tip so our waiter would have got $50+ Tip for a $116 meal. This is why I think they don’t give you an itemized receipt to begin with, it would compromise their ability to scam their customers.

Very close to Mizner Park. Great Shrimp fajitas and Shredded Beef Tacos! The Salsa was the super delicious. The best I've had in a long time, with finely chopped garlic and onions, not too spicy. Very cute Mexican decor and good service. Go out and support this small business, you will be happy you did.

Small brightly decorated Mexican restaurant serving up plenty of drink specials and Mexican food favorites.Visited on a Sunday evening, the restaurant was not busy at all. There was two tables with diners outside, and inside was empty. Our waitress was friendly, however she did not make any recommendations when told this was our first time dining there.Food was mediocre at best. Street corn was ok. Chicken Ensenada Enchiladas, Baja Fish Tacos was just ordinary. Steak and Shrimp Ranchero had good sauce, but chewy steak pieces. All entrees came with Mexican rice that was dry and black beans that was just average. With service that was nothing out of the ordinary, there is really nothing that would entice us to return, based on this visit.

This place is a hidden GEM that I wish existed in Miami because I would go all the time. I grew up in southern California and places like this are absolute hits with the locals. Eating here today took me back to my childhood dinners with family. Fabulous, friendly service throughout the meal, the salsa and warm chips were delicious. The queso was very good. My margarita was exactly what I wanted. The taco/enchilada combo was cheesy and so so good. If you are lucky enough to live near this place or passing by this is a MUST! Thank you for a great lunch!

Our server Shanique was very nice and professional. The food was okay. But the drinks were extremely disappointing. I ordered the most expensive margarita and it came in a juice glass, no salt and an imperceptible amount of alcohol - despite claiming to have the highest quality tequila and Cointreau. Hard to understand why you wouldn’t at least use normal glasses. We would have more than one round if they were at least the basic margaritas.

2-stars because the server was great. This great little place has gone downhill over the past 18 months. My sister and I visited two weekends ago, and the only positive thing I can say is that we had a lovely server who was kind to us and felt badly for having to return our cold food and unfrozen drinks. I've been chatting up this place to my sister who is from North Florida. I finally had the opportunity to take her. We wanted frozen house margaritas. We were served two glasses of what looked like cloudy water with a couple of inches of crushed iced (see photo). I asked the server if our drinks looked frozen, and she politely agreed they did not, and offered to have them refrozen. Whoever was behind the counter threw them back in the blender and returned them to our server. What you see in the photo is what we got the second time, and they were awful. We asked for a basket of chips and Chili Con Queso. The chips and salsa arrived first, and it took 12 minutes to receive the Queso and when it arrived it was lukewarm and tasted overly sweet. We asked the server to please reheat it, which she did, however, it was not the same recipe or product they were using over a year ago and, if it is, this slop was awful. We left the drinks and most of the dip, tipped the server well (not her fault), and left. I’m hoping this was a one-off for this place because I’ve always had great food and drinks at this place. This time was the bottom of the barrel, so I will probably not return for a very long time, if at all.

Highly recommended by friends, very disappointed. Came here last night! After they told us to sit anywhere, we waited a while for service. The chips & salsa were very good. I did enjoy the chicken quesadilla. We did ask if the chicken was pieces, which we like or shredded. They said they will cook it the way we like it. It was not. The guacamole was plain. The steak fajitas were terrible. It had no taste & was in a weird tomato gooey sauce. Asked 3x for water & extra salsa. How do 2 different servers ignore your request. Not once was water refilled or were we asked how everything was. Terrible experience!
