This was the second time I came here to eat with my girlfriend on St. Patties Day and we liked the Food, we both got 2 different cocktails, and we thought the Server was knowledgeable and attentive. But this time we came, we had Mary as our server. She was nice, she brought out our drinks and appetizer at a responsible time. We ordered Tableside Guacamole, and I thought it was old that for a Restaurant in Boca, Mary our Server made the Guacamole in front of us without gloves on.Then after we got our Entrées, I told her I didn't like the Dish I got Pollo En Mole. I made to Tacos out of it, and I told her no matter how I had it, it was overly sweet. That I compared it if someone tired to make Mole, then added BBQ sauce to it.She took it away and offered me a menu to choose something else, but in this time, my girlfriend felt bad and gave me her Fujita Burrito which I thought was good. But no Manager came to the Table to talk to us, the guy she did speak to behind the Bar just stared at me with a angry and annoyed looking face, and when she gave us the bill, she took half of it off.I've worked in the Hospitality Industry for over 17 years, and as a Restaurant Manager myself, I would never have a guest pay for something they didn't like. We are not sure after this experience that we want to continue being Partons of Casa Tequila. We still gave Mary over 22% of a Tip on the original subtotal, so I don't know why she was belt on keeping the Mole on the bill; I guess we just expected more from a Restaurant in the Heart of Boca, but there are definitely better Mexican Restaurants that are priced around the same but give far superior service.

We were in the mood for Mexican food and wandered into Casa Tequila. It's now on our list of go-to places for Mexican. Fancy? No. Delicious? Yes. Filling? Let's just say a "doggie" bag escorted us home... but none of the delicious leftovers went to the dog! The place was crowded on a Friday night (yes, this is Boca in "season"), as both inside and outside seats were full and people were waiting for a table. Casa Tequila takes reservations only for parties of 8 or more. Fortunately, the wait wasn't too long, and we were seated in the bar area. We were actually happy with this as the soft leather seats were quite comfy. The menu is extensive and offers the usual assortment of fajitas, tacos, enchiladas, burritos and more. They also feature several other seafood, meat and chicken entrees. The made-to-order chicken soup and seafood soup sounded delicious, and looked enticing as the people at table next to us were enjoying the large bowls of chicken soup. We gobbled up a complimentary basket of fresh, warm tortilla chips and a nice, chunky salsa. There were several types of hot sauce on the table that could be used to spice up the salsa. Ole! I ordered two chimichangas with chicken, which came with sides of rice and refried beans. The chimi's were excellent: flavorful and filling. The refried beans were overcooked though and were disappointing. The menu featured two chimichangas for just a few dollars more than a single chimi. I couldn't pass up that bargain. The second one came home with me as the first one was sufficient for a meal. My wife enjoyed her "super" chicken burrito with grilled chicken, although the quantity of chicken seemed fairly limited as compared to the large portion of rice and beans within the burrito. She opted for black beans instead of refried beans, which was a good choice in light of the overdone beans I was served. We generally enjoyed our dining experience at Casa Tequilla and will return again to explore other menu items.

Food is always amazing! Margaritas rock and the ambiance is fun. We've been coming here for years. The owners Martha and Hector are always there ensuring quality in service and food.
The parking lot was a nightmare! The overall restaurant was fun and had an authentic vibe. The staff wasn't particularly friendly. There was a large party of 60 and they were clearly lingering longer than they should have. The staff was frustrated and annoyed and couldn't seat anyone. It was a bit chaotic! The server as clearly overwhelmed and just done. The food we ordered came out correctly and was tasty. I got a chicken quesadilla and it was good. My friend got a taco salad. Everything has great flavor. The bathrooms were clean and stocked. I would come back and hope there wasn't a big party!

Best authentic Mexican food in Florida! We had a beef asada burrito, a side pork tamale, a (huge) side of refried beans, and a #14 combo: a chili relleno, and beef enchilada and beef tostada with added avocado. All was brought out hot and tasted amazing. Our waitstaff Camillo was wonderful, and the Presidente margaritas with house silver tequila were wonderful, too. Definitely recommend. We are visiting, but would come here often if we lived here.

The quest for a nearby West Boca Happy Hour spot is complete! We sat at the bar and ordered 2 delicious margaritas! $5 margaritas until 7pm on weekdays!! I went with the chile relleno and chimichanga combination which came in a nice portion. They also brought out nachos with salsa -- the nachos were just made, hot and crispy. It's fun to sample all worlds and I will check out more of their combinations in the future. Half of this is Tuesday's lunch. Casa Tequila had a solid crowd for a Monday evening with a great crew!
