Staff and food is a 10/10 every time I have gone there. Love their margaritas, there was one they had around September that was absolutely delicious.

We dined in february 13 we ordered the mahi-mahi salad artichoke carrot cake and the chicken salad the food was awful the mahi-mahi was old and made me violently sick with diarrhea and vomiting I called the restaurant and they said they would help us look into this matter and refund the purchase of tainted old rotten food we've eaten here several times I was there last year on my birthday and I noticed it started going downhill food quality is not top notch it's the worst ever and the place is healthy they have flies in the lanterns everything is sticky and dirty I liked their chicken salads I guess we can't go back they never responded and they blew off the complaint like it was nothing
For the Mac and cheese alone it's worth going. Actually, getting the Mac and cheese to go is probably the go-to move! If you do eat in, the service is very good. and imo the appetizers and sides are better / better value than the mains

Went to the bar but left my glasses in my car and asked if they had any readers. The bartender said no so I had to go out back to my car when I returned I went to the hostess station and she said she had plenty. Got wonder about service... bartender never checked back with me, poor service

Fantastic burger and mound of fries. The cuisine is always freshly prepared and of high quality. As long as the place looks well, I appreciate the vibe. The booths are comfy, and the outdoor patio is large. It's a good thing they don't have fried calamari anymore because they can't acquire fresh seafood because nobody likes chewy frozen seafood.

Thai Kai chicken salad is awesome and consistent. New paragraph as well as the French Dip is outstanding.Parking: Limited parking spots. Ballet is the best next option. It just takes some time.

I’m a big fan of the food at J Alexander’s, but I have serious concerns about some of the bar staff, aside from Michele and Laura, who are great. A couple of the bartenders, particularly two girls, display such a negative attitude it’s almost enough to make you want to walk out. They act as if customers should be thankful just to be sitting in front of them. This kind of behavior is really disgusting. It’s not what you’d expect from a place that otherwise has such high standards. Management really needs to address this issue.
Been celebrating our gfs bds there forever..never a bad meal & service is excellent! But the best part is the chocolate cake with ice cream..to die for!

I have been here a few times for business lunches and have consistently been pleased by the speed of food prep, the great service, and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant. I highly recommend the THAI KAI SALAD. It's fantastic. You also won't go wrong with any item on the menu.Parking: Park in the back for easy in and out.
