We have been to Josephine's several times and have never been disappointed. We brought friends this time, and they enjoyed it as well. Great service, white table cloths, great food and good value. We will certainly be back.

What a fun place! Live entertainment, the food is great and staff is friendly. They serve THE BEST PORK CHOP I’ve ever eaten! And that’s not an exaggeration! We’ll definitely be back.

What a delightful dinner experience. This is a beautiful restaurant with wonderful staff, service and food. We had attended a private party here last year and had a great experience. However, this was the first time my husband and I, as well as another couple, actually dined in the restaurant itself. We were fortunate enough to dine on a Friday evening when there was an excellent singer who provided entertainment. We cant wait to return to Josephine's again!

Both the absolute worst dining experience I've ever had and the best waiter service I've ever had. We were “lucky” enough to be “greeted” by Josephine herself who scowled at us to begin with and reluctantly sat us down for our reservation. I explained to her that we were having clients join us for a happy hour and we may have less people than originally scheduled and she could place us where convenient. Our guests unfortunately had to leave early and as I expected to expense this dinner, I was just going to have our waiter ring us up for extra food to accommodate the confusion. But instead, Miss Josephine stomped up, scolded us for an event that wasn't our direct fault, and yelled at us to “never do this again to anyone else.” By the way, the restaurant was absolutely empty (literally no other tables) and we were the only business there nearly the entire night. I nearly walked out then and there, frankly I should have, but our waiter was beyond accommodating and so respectful and understanding. I would have left for Josephine but I stayed for him because he went above and beyond and I tipped him 80% on our bill. Treating your customers like this, as an owner, is absolutely unacceptable and her behavior was almost embarrassing as her fake Gucci belt. If you are looking to book this restaurant, read the negative reviews as they are all spot on. I never want to see any small business fail, but this was a location we were looking forward to taking our clients to again and again but instead will never return. There is no chance this business will stay open if the owner's vile behavior continues.

We tried Josephine's in continuation of our 'Boca North Italian Trail' series! We've driven by Josephine's for ever and had never eaten there. It was a Wednesday or Thursday night so it was relatively quiet, only 4/5 tables including us. We started with a lovely bottle of Plumpjack wine from their varied offerings. We had a caprese salad and veal dishes with sides. Everything was delicious and dare I say traditional, in the best way. Service was very prompt all around. One of our favorite things about that night was the live entertainment. I wish I'd caught the performers name, he was wonderful and played a nice blend of classics and newer tunes. I don't think he still performs there (per the calendar). We stopped in sgain on a Friday just for drinks at the bar with some friends. There was a woman singing and she was terrific too. The bar tender was less than friendly and seemed to have a tough time keeping up with drink orders; as well as rushing us to get out. Stopped in again at the beginning of February for drinks and he was only slightly friendlier. Martini's are definitely his forte. I look forward to going here again.

Greeting: horrible Bartender: very overwhelmed guy;acted like he had six people deep at the bar, patiently waited then asked for a simple two ingredient cocktail and he was perturbed by that - said he doesn't make a lot of “craft cocktails”, definitely not suited for bartending. Hostess (owner?) woman not friendly or welcoming at all; (like many in Boca). Food was good but we won't be back. Won't matter they had a great crowd, some people don't mind poor treatment I guess!

if you find yourself driving along Federal Hwy in Boca and come across Josephine's, do yourself a favor and step on the gas and drive away! I have to say from the onset it was a domed evening. We arrived on time for our reservation at 7:00. We went up to the hostess stand , said who we are and that the res was for a party of 3. The hostess repeatedly asked how many were in our party. ??? We asked to be seated outside as it was noisy and the singer was just too loud for the space. It was a little breezy out and we were assured that the plastic shade would be lowered to block the wind. After being ignored for 20 minutes, we finally got some bread. After another additional 20 minutes i went to the hostess and explained that we've been here nearly an hour and would she please send a waiter over. The waiter finally came and complained about his working conditions. Way to ensure our pleasant dining experience! We asked him to lower the shade and he huffily said "i don't do that." My husband finally got up and lowered the shade as best he could. We ordered after asking the waiter to please tell us the specials...he was in a hurry. We ordered a charcuterie board and a few pasta dishes. The charcuterie had some unidentifiable meat on it, the absolute smallest pieces of Parmesan cheese, which was all rind and the bizarre addition of anchovies. Anchovies on a cured meat and cheese board? It was disgusting. The pasta dishes came..Gluey lumps in uninspired sauces. The real kicker here is that the "hostess" was none other than Josephine herself! An unorganized, addled person who clearly cannot run a restaurant or maybe has just lost interest. there are far better italian restaurants in Boca and the surrounding area. Needless to say we'll not be back.

We went for my mom's 75 birthday & it was the worst dining experience. We had a 6:30 reservation ,we were seated right away & it took them 1/2 hrs to bring water ,bread was put down at 7:25 pm an hour after seating us & our order was taken at 7:53pm. We were all served separately & my dad & nephew ordered the black Ink squid pasta with seafood ,which was brought out with regular spaghetti??? Really It's A SPECIAL how do you get it wrong .When we questioned the waiter he brought out a separate Small bowl of the sqiud ink pasta . What were they supposed to do just plop the pasta on top of the wrongly made dish?? When the bill came, we then said for $55 a plate that was incorrect & should be removed, they DID NOT remove it .The waiter also charged for 2 dishes we never ordered, those were taken off since he knew ,we caught him .My dad didn't want the drama on mom's birthday, so he paid & we left. The tables are on top of each other, the bathroom was messy ,the waiter was rude & a scammer .I guess Josephine's is hurting for business, well if you keep this up people talk .I wouldn't ho back for a free meal,it was awful .I wish I could have zero star ,but it won't let you write a review without at least 1 star ,but the experience deserves ZERO star .DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY

Not a good night for Josephine's. Understaffed as service was terrible. Waiter messed up order and had to ask us again. Trouble getting a drink . My duck came out great. Lamb chops were overcooked and without taste. Waited a hour to get a coffee order in. My sorbet keep out frozen as rock. Left it without eating. Surprised the manager never came by table to apologize or offer us some gratification. Other patrons were complaining also . Nice interior of restaurant.

Last minute reservations with friends, haven't been in a while. The food is great old school Italian. From the stuffed zucchini flowers to the veal Parmesan. Delicious. Wife loved the linguine with clams. Nice older boca vibe ( I'm 64 and loved it ) singer in the dining room was fun. Wine prices are the lowest in boca and great wines too. Server was great but they could use a couple more for faster service. But with the music and wine the wait was not an issue.

We chose this dinner date based on the 'pretty lights' as we drove by. We had no idea how wonderful our evening would be. The service we received from Jorge and the romantic, calming atmosphere truly gave us a dining experience to remember. Our meals were unbelievably perfect and if we could have stayed and eaten more we would have. All good things must come to an end.We wish only success for this gem.
