They changed waiters after we wanted three checks for six people, which were couples The waiter forgot my soup, and I had to track him down to get my soup. They forgot about my husband‘s Capri salad and it said it came on a bit of lettuce. He ordered caprice salad with chicken, and it came with very, very little salad after a long, time of reminding the waiter. He had to send it back to get some more lettuce, and it was after we got our food

I ordered veal parm, which was good. My husband ordered veal and peppers which was awful. When we ordered the waiter told us we could have house salad never mentioned that we could have soup. When I ordered, I asked for light sauce on my veal and light sauce on my pasta. My pasta arrived drowned in sauce. The bus boy said he would replace it 10 minutes later. It still wasn't replaced. I called the manager he reheated my veal which was now cold, I waited another 10 minutes still did not receive my pasta. When I finally received my pasta, it was 10 minutes later and drowned in sauce. to make a long story short, the wailer sarcastically informed me that next time he will cook and serve at the same time ha ha ha. I told him no worries. Next time I will go to a new restaurant The waiter then brought us one drink for us to share to make amends for the horrific service we received. This is not a restaurant I would go to again nor would I recommended for anyone else to go to

Delayed service. We were in time for early bird but it seemed they were trying to get us out before regulars came in. First told us no bar then oops! yes. Then rushed. No coffee. Never again

La Luna has excellent food and usually great service. This visit was a little disappointing because the kitchen was so slow that it put a damper on the dining experience. We waited an unacceptable time for apps and entrees. Our server, Kenny, was very attentive but clearly aware of the issue. On the plus side, everyone enjoyed their meal.

Unbeknownst to me, they changed their early bird special from 5:30 to 5:15. We were seated at 5:20 and received the regular menu. I don't remember seeing this on their website or any other advertisements. It would have been easy to come a few minutes earlier had I known.

The food is good. The surface is good one of the signature dishes, Tuscan lasagna, which is made with vegetables, was not on the menu because the person responsible for making it forgot to make it. So my wife had to settle for something else which was disappointing. The only problem I have with this restaurant is they charge $18 for a glass of Meomi wine when I can buy a whole bottle for 16 at the liquor store. That's unfair and grossly overpriced.

Our go to place. At least once a week. Food is consistent. Takes them a little for entree to be served. But the dishes are hot and you can tell each table made to order. I read reviews where people complain about the service and sometimes long waits. This is Florida folks. In season waiting is what we do. Hands down the best restaurant for nice meal. Not crazy expensive.

We had a wonderful dinner. Food delicious. Service excellent thanks to Kenny, who takes care of your every request. I wanted fra Diablo sauce instead of a light marinara, no problem.

We have been going to La Luna for 8 years and never had poor service or an unacceptable meal. Last night changed that. We arrived at 6pm and got a table outside. A "new" waiter came out and took our drink order and then we waited. He came back and said he would be bringing the drinks and bread we told him we were ready to order. He eventually came back, we gave him our order and he did not write it down. We waited for the bread and by 6:55 we were getting up to leave when another waiter came by and took our order again and apologized. The "new" waiter then came out and apologized and blamed it on someone else. He now said he was a new manager and would get things straightened out and would adjust our bill. By 7:15 we were getting ready to leave again and the food came. We were not hungry. My husband went in and asked for the bill. We waited. The "new" waiter gave us the bill and there was no adjustment. I mentioned that to him and he said shrugged his shoulders. We paid and left and will not return.

Food quality, service, friendliness. One of the worst dining experiences ever. No management presence at all. Rude server and hostess.

I think we visited La Luna Italian Bistro on its grand opening day. The food was good, but a bit too salty, both my calamari pasta and my data's lasagna. Soup or salad comes with the entre. We chose the pea soup, so delicious. We definitely will come back to try this restaurant gain.

I usually love love it here but our experience was not great this time.. We sat outside and the service was great to start and than it went downhill. We got our salads right away and waited an hour for our dinner to arrive. We asked the hostess to send our waiter out and he never came. When our food was finally brought out .. we were not asked if we needed anything like pepper, cheese, or drinks. The spaghetti bolognese was greasy and not good and we have had it there before and it was delicious. We told the hostess that we did not have the best experience and she told us that they were busy.

This was our first visit after two years. We were seated on time for our reservation at a good table next to the wall. Jamie was a very pleasant, accommodating server. He offered good food recommendations that turned out to be delicious choices for all four in our party. The problem at La Luna was the same as two years ago...the service is very slow to get the entrees. We were there an hour before we were served and asked twice about the timeliness. I think the kitchen is either too small or there is insufficient staff, or both. La Luna is clearly a popular spot, but I would like to see greater attention to serving the food more quickly.

The food is always enjoyable here, but they always seem to be understaffed and we always have to wait a long time to be served and to get the attention of our waiter when necessary.

Update one year later, La Luna still delivers a solid traditional Italian American experience. Large portions, excellent red sauce, and fantastic soups. The chef clearly isn't interested in vegetables, so the mixed vegetables and side salads are there for nutrition not enjoyment. Pregrated cheese on the table with a shaker top. Warm garlic bread delivered to the table when you sit down. Fantastic attentive service despite the crowds of people. Ambience is white tablecloth cloth but a bit crowded and loud. This is a restaurant I don't mind eating at but would never pick as my personal choice. I totally understand why others think it's fantastic
