The male owner over reacted when I raised my hand to get his attention. He went off on a tirade. I sat there totally shocked. He said I "pissed him off". I told him I did not like the way he was speaking to us (me and my 90 year old mom), and he said he was selling the place and didn't "give a (s) hit". ( I had to separate because TripAdvisor won't allow profanity - too bad the owner of this restaurant didn't get the memo. He said this right in front of my mother. All because I raised my hand. As we got up to leave, the female owner came out and apologized several times. I got the feeling she has to do this frequently. Right next door was Jersey Mikes. We got a freshly made sub and it was delicious. And no one was disrespectful to us.

This is a hidden gem amidst the Garden Shops near Publix off of Palmetto Park Rd in Boca Raton. Almost afraid to write this for fear that it will no longer be so hidden. The owner, Jean Louis, is a sweet, personable, and gracious host who makes you feel very much at home. Plenty of nice choices on the menu, with lunch specials as well. The soup was so tasty that my date insisted that I get an extra spoon to taste. She’s a keeper for sure now. So is this delicious and quaint little bistro. Shhhhh. Don’t tell anyone. : )

The food at Monet never disappoints! We miss the banter with the Chef Jean Louis and his wife Gloria, but the bistro is authentic and fresh. Whether it's the onion soup, any of the sandwiches or salads, it's beautifully prepared and always delicious!

Authentic. The sandwiches are delicious, and the French onion soup is the best I've ever had. I've had French onion soup at wildfire and many other places that is delicious, this is by far the best and most authentic. This place could be in a diner drive ins and dives episode it's so good.

What a great find! We had the most enjoyable outdoor lunch. The place is spotlessly clean and they serve everything in disposable containers. The owner was serving the tables and was extremely pleasant and helpful, Best of all the food was delicious! My salad nicoise was fresh, beautifully presented, and so yummy. My husband loved his roast beef sandwich which contained soft and tasty roast beef cooked to perfection. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who would like to savor some delectable French cuisine.
