Oliv Pit Was very accommodating in our request to seat a group of 14 in the outdoor patio . Dionysus provided the best service we could've asked for making our experience a great one. Trio appetizer, meatballs, falafel, and beet salad were great. Pita sandwich choices and drink menu were good tookThank you. Everyone loved it

Oh, stop your endless scrolling in search of the ultimate Gyro spot in Deerfield! Look no further, for you have stumbled upon it! I happened to be on a work trip when the craving for a gyro struck me. Curiosity led me to this establishment, and boy, was I pleasantly surprised! From the delectable food to the impeccable service and the delightful evening atmosphere (we even snagged a spot outside!), everything was simply perfect! The authenticity of this place transported me straight to Athens, as if dining in a charming little restaurant there. The moment you step inside, you're enveloped in a warm and cozy ambiance that feels just like home. I cannot express my admiration for this place enough. Absolutely thrilled with the experience!

Quaint little family restaurant with delicious food! Wonderful service and atmosphere! It was amazing the quality of the food and the chefs even came out of the kitchen and asked us how our meal was! Who does that?! Only a business that appreciates their customers!

The aura of the eatery is cozy and the staff is superbly welcoming and profesional. The menu is well equipped with enough spread of choices that allows you to find something for almost any Greek-food-mood you may be in. The portions are on the smaller size compared to the price point, but the quality of the food is a highlight.Parking: Free parking, lots of parking spots.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible
Dinner was good. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. However, the service was not particularly good. We gave the server our order and then watched others who were seated after us be served. (He also returned to the table to ask me to repeat my order.)We didn’t order any special food to cause a delay. It was quite a while before dinner was served.I asked for an iced tea. When it finally arrived, I asked for a lemon wedge and was told that there were no lemons. What??? No lemons in a Greek restaurant??? They brought me a shot glass of very thinly sliced limes. Too thin to squeeze any juice for my tea. And, by the way, no one ever returned to refill my tea. Another in my party asked for water after the meal and also asked the server to fill my empty tea glass with water. There was no ice for the water. There are other Greek/Mediterranean restaurants in the area with good or bettter food but with excellent service.Give it a try. If you don’t mind the service, you will enjoy the food when it finally arrives. But bring your own lemons.

The gang at Oliv Pit are all smiles when they welcome you to their authentic Greek restaurant. The food is delicious and is always served with love. They treat everyone like family and as the saying goes, "Family is not an important thing, it's everything". Enjoy the food and OPA !Parking: Parking spots are available in front or in the back and there is even an indoor parking garage on the side of the strip mall

I love this place. Great quality food, very welcoming atmosphere. Everyone (the hosts, the waitresses, the chefs) spoke to me and my 6 year old daughter when we walked in 30mins before closing time, welcoming us in. They were all smiling and all so friendly.I got the Greek salad to start. A beautiful light, crunchy, and vinegary appetizer to prep your taste buds and not fill you up before the entrée. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection. I love to get the lemon potatoes and veggies on the side. And the dessert, I forgot what it’s called, but it’s like a lemon custard wrapped in the pastry used for baklava. 10/10! I love that the desserts aren’t overly sweet. It’s just enough to cure a sweet tooth craving and not enough to give you a cavity. My daughter is a picky eater so she got French fries, which were really good by the way. Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and fresh! She also got the Mango tea which she thoroughly enjoyed. I tasted it myself and I loved it. Our server said it was sweetened with honey. Again, not overly sweet, but actually perfect.I highly recommend this place if you’d like authentic Mediterranean food with top tier service.Kid-friendliness: I was happy to see that they have a kids menu with something that my picky eater child would enjoy.
