We were delighted to find out that the known restaurant Sapori which means flavor in Italian is actually getting new flavors by the new owners. We enjoyed grilled octopus, duck breast salad, ox tail, Loup de Mer with delicious potatoes gratin. Perfect taste and presentation by chef Michael. Hardly any room for desert but well worth the calories. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

We went to this restaurant because our friend said it was the best Italian restaurant in the u s a. Well we came here after a45 minute drive. We arrived early for a 5:30 visit unfortunately there was no valet parking. We drove around a free parking lot which was adjacent to the restaurant before we found the last spot. W arrived at the restaurant at opening time 5::30ant outside for my hours and one half hour before a second table was occupiedOur host said you should have a Bloody Mary drink I with a side of vodka served with the drink there’s free parking The food was fantastic and the service was great.

Marco Pindo, the head chef and owner, is the rudest person I’ve ever encountered.My wife and I decided to eat here for a special celebration. As we entered the restaurant, Marco stormed out of the kitchen and addressed us aggressively. (We had just gotten there. I’m not sure what he was upset about but we certainly didn’t do it.)I politely asked if a table was available, as the restaurant was half-empty. Without warning, he literally screamed in my face, “NO!”and fumed that the tables were all reserved. He called me stupid for thinking I could get a table without a reservation. He yelled at my wife and me to get out and never come back.His aggressive attack all but ruined our evening. The man is unstable. Avoid this place like the plague.

What a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Like most others, we have severely limited our dining out during the past two years. A colleague's birthday and his desire to dine at a nice Italian restaurant was the impetus we needed to try Sapori. Note to other restaurants, the other Italian restaurant we considered wanted to charge a ridiculous corkage fee of $40. Since we each wanted to bring a bottle, there was no way we were going to pay $40 per bottle. We happily paid a much more reasonable $25 per bottle. It was a beautiful evening to dine al fresco and, feel safe. Besides the warm welcome at the front desk, the beautiful table setting and lighting set the stage for the beautiful dining experience to come. Water glasses promptly filled and soon thereafter wonderful crispy bread with a roasted garlic and a pesto butter arrived. When one of the diners asked if plan butter was available and it was quickly delivered. Our server Anthony cited without missing a beat the extensive list of specials for the evening. He flawlessly opened our bottes of vino and was happy to provide a glass for each wine. For apps, we choose calamari steak, grilled octopus and a Caesar salad. All were fabulous. Mara came by to make certain that everything was to our satisfaction. We had a nice chat with her while waiting for our main courses. Three out of four main courses were specials of the evening. I had the bone in braised short rib over homemade pappardelle. It was magnificent and paired so nicely with our Amarone. The other mains chosen were veal chop, Corvina and a frutti de mare. All were equally terrific. For desert we shared ricotta cheesecake which we all enjoyed. Chef Marco is truly a remarkable chef and his staff are all well trained. So happy we tried this lovely restaurant. To Marco, Mara and Anthony I say Grazie Mille from the 4 of us! Joe M

Probably the best Italian restaurant in Boca Raton and arguably South Florida. Chef Marco takes pride in his work and always has the freshest selection of locally grown produce, sustainably caught fish, and the best homemade pasta on earth!! If visiting Boca definitely hit up this hidden gem.

The owner Marcos is the nastiest man I’ve ever met. He ruined our rehersal lunch by yelling at every guest because they wouldn’t sit down because of pictures and having fun. We couldn’t breath or move without being yelled at. His waitress even said you don’t know what we deal with. I wish I could post the video of him yelling at us. I’ll post on Yelp please go check out that review. Don’t trust this man or restaurant. I’ll do anything I can to stop people from this nightmare. He even text me after saying the dirtiest meanest things. PLEASE DONT GO. Wish I could leave negative stars.
