Reservations needed for weekends as they get quite busy. Some Hibachi chef’s put on more of a show than others. Service can be hit and miss on drink refills. Good sake selection. I do wish they gave the teenagers attention with throwing a piece of broccoli, etc. as they do the little kids, kids love that stuff regardless of age. Everything is prepared quite salty so we only come once in a while for dinner here.

This view is strictly about the draft beer selection. Kirin Ichiban and Sapporo on draft. Beautiful bar with wide liquor selection. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Prices are very reasonable at $6/pint (January 2024). If you're looking for Japanese draft beer in the area, look no further!

Been here twice in 1 week. Love the food. The calamari is incredible, and so is the lobster. The first time we came, we sat with another patron whom also had fish, so sharing the grill was ok.2nd time we sat with a family of 5 that all ordered chicken and various red meats. When they were grilling our seafood, the chef would move the seafood over to the beef, and almost mix them all, then separate. Major cross contamination. No other tapanyaki restaurant would ever do this. Keep the meats on one side, seafood on the other, and definitely don't move the fish over the beef guts all over the grill.I didn't make a fuss at the table, I got up and politely explained the situation to whom I assumed was the owner, initially I thought he understood, but then he brought me back to the table to figure out what happened and it turned into this big fiasco. So now there is a big scene where I was trying to avoid one. They cooked me new food in the back, but by this point I was turned off, especially because I have no idea if they served me the same calamari and lobster they had originally taken away from our grill. The other family agreed with me that it was unacceptable that they mixed the meats on the grill. The mother even mentioned that Benni Hanna would have never done this, and shes right.

Fun place. They rolled a hibachi menu up to the table to choose which option we would like but was not shown the full menu at all. We like to mix it up with sushi and apps. Our hibachi chef was amazing, but the food was just so so.

I went in to eat with my sister, when it came time to pay , i tipped the server and she said i HAVE to tip her 18% .. nothing less. im a server so i understand the importance of tipping plus 18% is only included when its a party of 5 or more. It was just me and my sister… She demanded a specific amount and when i told her no after how unprofessional she was she proceeded to saying “next time take out”… if 18% is mandatory INCLUDE IT ON THE TAB. They are so money hungry and will never going back to this location again.

Came here on a Tuesday night and the place was basically empty. We chose to sit at the regular tables because we didn't want to smell like hibachi lol. Our server was super nice and immediately told us they longer server sushi. We started with the shrimp tempura and it was amazing!! Super fresh hot and crispy. Definitely still thinking about it today. I got the steak and chicken hibachi with fried rice. This also comes with soup and salad which was very yummy. Steak was great cooked perfectly and super juicy. Chicken was just okay, slightly dry. The two shrimp that they give you with your meal was really good! Fried rice was excellent. Hibachi vegetables had a charred flavor which some people love just not my thing! We had the fried ice cream for dessert. This is where they sadly loose a star. It wasn't hot, and the ice cream tasted freezer burnt. Overall I would most definitely come back here but pass on dessert!

Cost is super overpriced. Been going to them for years pre Covid but since that time the costs have tripled and the service gets worse. Time to find another option.

Worst place I’ve been to.. so my family and I get there 30 minutes before they close. from the outside we see this employee raising her hands like we are about to bother them.. and we go inside all of them gave us attitude . Not only that one of the ladies asked us are you sure y’all want this food . Yes we do we drive all way from Fort Lauderdale hello !!! They were rushing us .. then when we leave the restaurant they didn’t even noticed us or said have a good night. Very rude Latin employees never again… y’all can keep y’all food and I go spent my money somewhere else with better service..

On the night of October 15, 2023, prior to our Jon Secada concert at the Dania Beach Casino, we unwisely chose to dine at the Saito's Japanese Steakhouse in Dania Pointe. My wife had previously dined at the Saito's Japanese Steakhouse in Coconut Creek, where she always had excellent experiences. Thus, we decided to give this new location a try, since it was close to the concert. What took place was an absolute nightmare and easily the most horrible restaurant experience of my 71 years on this planet. It started with the parking situation, as it took around 15 minutes to locate a parking space, and I must emphasize that I am disabled. Upon entering the restaurant, and I must say the restaurant was beautiful, we were met with a pair of not caring hostesses engaged in chatting with each other, we were forced to wait for them to finish before we were seated. Mind you, the restaurant was almost empty, with it being around 6 PM on a Saturday Night. Our order was for the Steak and Shrimp Super Combination Dinner, which we shared, with a side of fried rice. Our waiter, however, started by bringing us soup and salad. The salad was chilled and tasted great, but the soup was shockingly cold. I informed the waiter of this issue, and he promised to return with a hot soup. When he did, it was, at best, warm not hot. Next to our table, a female bartender and another employee engaged in a loud conversation that showed a utter disregard for us. Scattered throughout the restaurant, numerous employees were chatting in similar disruptive chats. The climax of this dining nightmare occurred when our waiter presented us with the steak and shrimp dish, which was not just lukewarm, but downright cold. We sent it back, only for it to return still cold, and our medium-rare steak was now well-done. At our wit's end, we requested to speak with the manager, who, to our surprise argued that the soup and food were hot and something was wrong with our taste buds. I could scarcely contain my rage and said that we were quite aware of the difference between hot and cold. Astonishingly, he made no effort to fix the situation. We only ate maybe 1/3 of the cold food. Thus, we demanded the bill, and upon looking at it, we noticed an additional charge of $9 for reheating the food, which, as it turned out, came back cold, yet again. They removed the $9 from the check, and we left the restaurant. En route to the Jon Secada concert at the Dania Beach Casino, we were compelled to make an unscheduled stop as my wife, in a state of distress, had to vomit 2 times out the car door. Upon our arrival at the concert, both of us became sick , leaving no room for doubt that we had food poisoning from Saito's restaurant. Before the concert even started, my wife went to the bathroom 4 times and vomited at least 25 times, I went to the restroom 2 and vomited 8 times. After Jon Secada sang 2 songs my wife was once again was forced to the restroom again another round of vomiting. Before picking this restaurant I failed to check their 3-star rating reviews and the amount of complaints regarding both the quality of food and service. It is abundantly clear that this establishment hates their customers , as evidenced by the managers disregard for our situation. If you do not want to get sick do not eat at the Saito's Restaurant at Dania Point.
