The reason I gave this place 1 star because they charge you fee for sit at the table. They called it server charge. We came here so many times and never found out cause they never gave me receipt, this time I asked for the receipt and that how I found out. I went to asked them, and they said “if we sit there at the table, they will charge fee for that” she also said: “every restaurant or shop in that plaza charge the same”, which is not right and not true cause I happen to go to the restaurant next door which is Lemongrass hotpot and never got charge for dine in. So bottom line is when you go here, you need to ask for receipt and make sure to check if they charge you extra or not.

I couldn't be more thrilled that Teaplus set up shop in Boca Raton, sparing me the journey to Davie for my boba fix. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by a haven for anime enthusiasts--decorated with vibrant anime motifs, wallpapers, and an impressive array of action figures. Ordering is a breeze with the option to use their kiosk or approach the friendly counter staff. The menu is a boba lover's dream, boasting an extensive selection of milk teas and various drink options. What sets Teaplus apart is the ability to customize sweetness levels, catering to individual preferences perfectly. Besides their stellar drinks, Teaplus surprised me with a menu that extends beyond beverages. I sampled their takoyaki balls and waffle fries--both were a burst of flavor and the perfect accompaniment to my boba experience. Teaplus in Boca Raton is a must-visit!

Fun decor, with the walls papered by comics and toys all over. Service was relatively quick, we came in the middle of a afternoon. Salt and pepper chicken was a great taste and matched what we expected out of the Taiwanese Cafe. The Japanese takoyaki octopus balls were very good. The bubble tea was okay, I didn't necessarily like the tea but overall was much better than some other places that we tried in the area. We will definitely have to try the ramen here later.
Now this was a solid little shop, filled with toys and anime wallpaper, the site is one for the eyes and definitely something to come visit just to see the decor alone. The back wall has a number of decorations on the basketball team, Dragonball, and other anime groups. Very clean, and you order upfront and they'll bring it right out to you. Bubble tea - while not the exact tea I enjoy, certainly the best tea in the Boca and Coral Springs area that I've had, better than the Tiger Tea or Fyr. Solid bubbles that were chewy, not under or overcooked, and a little sweet. Pudding was the correct kind, too, not too artificially flavored like some places. The salt pepper chicken - perfectly crisp and seasoned well. I could have used a bit more, but this was still pretty close to what I've gotten in Taiwan outside of the cut of the pieces. Takoyaki was also very good, the little fish flakes waving around like it was still moving - everyone at the table enjoyed these. Overall solid shop, I'll be back here again to try the ramen! (plus some hotpot down the strip mall too)

Update: Kinda disappointed that they don't offer real milk instead of coffee creamer or powdered milk that they put on their milk tea. Yep, they don't serve real milk if you are not aware that powdered milk are used in bubble milk tea. I hope owner will offer real milk for additional fee which am willing to pay however staff said that owner rule is not to put real milk as an alternative. Oh well....Initial review: Omg... finally I found the bubble tea shop that similar to what you can find in NY Chinatown. They have mango pomelo with sago that I have been craving for. It was sooooo good. If you haven't tried that yet... then it's a must. Fresh fruit not artificial flavors.Place is pretty big because they also serve Ramen and other Japanese appetizers like yakitori. It is immaculately clean. Servers are very nice.
